Separation anxiety advice

My 2 and half year old is currently really struggling with separation anxiety.
So much so I think today’s the day I’ve wondered about calling either the Gp or reaching out to our health visitor.

Has anyone else ever had to go to these extremes for their child as I don’t know what else to try do? I’ve tried absolutely everything for MONTHS to help her feel loved and secure but she just walks around the house hysterically crying if me or her dad ever leave her just for a moment. Going out is turning into a nightmare as even sitting her pram is too far away from me. Now if she isn’t being carried or held she panics.
I’m even considering cutting out nursery because this all began when she moved from the baby room to the toddler room. She now absolutely hates going where before she loved it and never cried. I’ve tried to speak to nursery about it and they told me she basically asks for me nearly all day but they are doing all they can to help support her. I’ve asked for them to work with me and they’ve agreed they will do all they can to help make her feel safe and comfortable.

But yet the anxiety continues. I can’t believe it as she was the most confident baby up until this change at nursery. She has little friends who she knows by name and she’s never been hurt by anyone whilst there, the staff seem lovely but something in her head has changed.

I’m one very sad mummy at the moment because of this as she’s all I think about all day while I’m at work I feel so guilty. My husband’s said I can quit my job if it came to it so I can fully support her but I just never in a million years thought this would be the case. I also don’t know if that’s the right things to do either because then what 🤷🏼‍♀️?

How to settle night wakings without feeding

My EBF baby responds very well to feeds overnight to fall straight back asleep after waking. I’m conscious this isn’t a long term solution and we need a way of settling him without feeding.

He won’t take a dummy, patting/ hand on chest/shushing etc in crib doesn’t settle him. If I get him out of his crib he’s still distressed and I have to walk around with him for a long time and often still end up needing to feed him to get him back to sleep.

It’s especially hard at night as i also need my sleep and it’s far easier and quicker to quick feed and back to sleep.

Any advice on how I can settle overnight without the feeds?

Grunting, straining, red faced… HELP

my little one is just over 3 weeks and honestly I think he spends every night from 3am onwards grunting, straining, stretching his legs out and passing wind until about 6am. The only way he will sleep is if he is on my tummy down as this seems to give him comfort but it’s hard for me to not fall asleep when this happens! We have taken him to the doctors and they said he’s just a baby basically🤷‍♀️ he poos fine, passes wind throughout the night all night, burps after every feed I just cannot work out why he does it! Please can I have some advice or at least someone who is in the same boat 😭😭

17 month old not walking

My son has just turned 17 months and still isn’t walking, he can crawl, pull himself up on things & cruise along furniture. He’s also able to take a few steps if we play a game of back & fourth but gives up quite quickly.

I think he may be double jointed, I’ve spent far too long on Google & im really concerned / starting to not sleep because of it.

Has anyone had any positive outcomes?
I feel like I’m not doing enough etc 😩

Car seat issues

Help!! My daughter screams badly EVERY time I put her in the car seat. It causes me so much aniexty to take her out, I feel so trapped at the moment as don’t want to take her out because of it. It’s like a bad scream to the point where she’s sweating due to getting so worked up. This panics me so I always pull over to calm her down and put her back in. Has anyone had anything similar and can offer some advice? Thanks so much x x
