C-Section Scar Itch

My baby girl is turning one in a few days. So ofc, I’m almost a year PP. I’ve noticed for the past few months, my c section scar gets pretty itchy. Is anyone else going through this? How long will this last and how can I get relief?

My oldest is 6 and before I had my other two C-section in 2023 and 2026 it itched a lot. My 2026 baby is about to be 2 months old and so far it doesn’t itch my 2023 baby I think lasted 2 years. I could be wrong.

6 years since mine and it gets itchy. It’s the scar tissue. It’s not the same as our skin and it can get irritated or become itchy. If there’s no visible rash or issues then usually it’s okay and harmless

Almost 4 years postpartum and mine still itches sometimes I think it’s just the normal thing

Contact naps

At what age do contact naps become less regular? Don’t get me wrong, I love how serene he looks and love that he feels safest with me and 75% of the time it’s actually nice to just sit down with him and enjoy the moment. However, there are some days where I just feel a little drained from the constant-ness of it and I feel like I’m trying to get things done/look after my needs in his wake windows when he’s happy to go in his chair and watch me but then feel terrible for the lack of interaction with him where he’s my sole focus and tummy time, etc.

Nursing Chairs

Hey everyone! I wonder whether I can get some people’s opinions on nursing chairs.. Are they worth it? Do you actually use them? ☺️

Breastfed bottle refusal

I haven’t used a bottle of breastmilk in months for my baby because I haven’t needed too. I wanted to see if he would still take it as I am away with him and my friends next month and fancied a drink. He has just completely rejected the bottle, the Philips Avent and also Mam bottle. I am trying him with an open cup for water but I know that takes a long time. I don’t go back to work until a few weeks before he turns 1 so he is going to need to take pumped breast milk from my husband before he can have cows milk drink at 1. I am thinking if he can use a cup he could have his milk from that. Has anyone got any advice or recommendations please?

5am wake ups!

My 10 month old keeps waking up at 5am and we can’t figure out why. He’s usually asleep by 7.30pm and then seems to wake up at 5am. He will then fuss for an hour and eventually falls back asleep. I know it’s not the fact he goes to sleep at 7.30am because we’ve tried later times and it’s not light in his room because we have blackout blinds. Can’t seem to figure out why it’s 5am that he wakes up??
