Any business oriented mamas from Brooklyn want to connect?

SAHM in the process of building a few businesses with a long term view in the consumer product, real estate, venture, etc areas. Would love to connect with others in a similar place in life.

As much as I see interesting and possibly aligned people from Manhattan, Jersey City, even downtown Brooklyn…unless they are nearer to my neighborhood or we are meeting up to go grocery shopping or go to IKEA. I’m probably not going to have time to meet them. Even if I WANT to be that park walk type of person.

- My twin boys are 8 months.
- Located in East Flatbush
- Background in design, vc, & consulting.
- I have a backyard garden I’m working on.

Anti depressants

My GP want me to go on anti depressants for PPD but I’ve heard so many people say they make them feel worse/feel like zombies and I’m scared to even take them bc I’ve never heard anyone say their anti depressants even worked for them

Have they worked for any of you?

Distant Friend?

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have had a similar experience. How you coped with it etc.

I've had a close friend for the last 4/5 years I met through my husband. She was the maid of honour at my wedding and we've been close with her partner since they've been together. We used to hang out a lot and used to see each other for dog walks, pubs etc.

We both started trying for children at a similar time. We unfortunately had a miscarriage which was very hard to deal with. They got pregnant around this time and then miraculously we got pregnant again and this time baby stayed. Since we've become pregnant again, I feel like they've started becoming distant.

We moved back home a few months ago which meant we were actually closer to them then before, but we've actually met up less than before...We've both tried to meet up with them and just feel a bit blown off. I feel really gutted because I thought I'd have a close friend during pregnancy but it feels like the opposite.

They've now had their baby and completely understand that life is probably really busy for them. We've tried to prompt them about if something is wrong but just been given the response of sorry we've been busy.

I feel like I'm going mad, it's hard because I want to be her friend but feel like she just doesn't want to be my friend. I'm fed up of reaching out and not getting a lot back. Advice please x

Random question, do you believe that you can beat your partner in a physical fight?

A lady said that when she’s very angry or trying to protect her children, she can beat any man

Okay, when you are fighting for your life, do you think you can physically fight your partner?
No weapons

Just using your hands and legs
