hi, recently found out i'm pregnant 8 months after having a C-section
i need some advice on if it's safe to carry on with this pregnancy as i was told it's not safe to get pregnant 1-2 years after my section
i love my little one and would love another but not sure if im ready yet
think it's really fresh and im overthinking this

The 1-2 years is advisory. It’s not necessarily ‘unsafe’ there are just higher risk factors, particularly surrounding your eligibility for a VBAC if you wanted one.
Not sure where you’re based but if UK, you’ll likely be labeled high risk because of your previous section, so your midwives & consultants will monitor you extra closely, if that’s what your main worry
i think it's that that's i'm worried about and because i was clueless with my first and she had colic, i know it will be different if i have this one because ive dont it before, think im just worried overall and a bit anxious

I was told to wait a minimum of a year, I’ve heard that it’s because your scar may not be healed all the way and the baby might have a chance of implanting in the scar and not in the utero. I got pregnant again at around 14 months after my C-section, I’m 17 weeks right now and I can feel my scar stretching a little bit already. Getting pregnant earlier really just increases your chances for complications if your scar isn’t healed all the way. I don’t know if they can do a scan on the scar or something just to check how well it’s healed internally but you could try asking!

A looong and honestly traumatic labour which after over 24hrs of contractions resulted in a c-section he arrived today at 10:02am, I’m absolutely besotted he’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen 🙂↔️

I’m due on the 7th of November and still haven’t packed my hospital bag. When should I get this sorted? And what do I need? What are things I definitely need to pack that I will definitely forget to pack if it’s not on my list???

Hi ladies, was wondering is anyone thinking about booking in a c section over an induction if they went past 41 weeks? Appreciate people’s thoughts and any past experiences!

Hiya!
Hospital booked my induction at 39+4
How was your experience with that?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to do a cute little arrangement rather than just saying when I announce to family members, does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I’m thinking a box with some baby items ☺️

It happened.
After my c-section I laid in that hospital and I said NEVER AGAIN. I’m never going through the experience of birth (c-section or vaginal) EVER AGAIN.
I told my husband “sorry babe, after this I am one and done. I can’t do this type of trauma and pain ever again”.
My boy is 3 months old now, I looked at his adorable little face… and said
“Shit I want another”.
Hope all the June mamas are hangin in!
😂❤️
