I started at 5 months, but all kids are different, go with your gut x

6 months with my first, my second isn’t sitting as well as my first was at this age so at least 6 months but if he’s not stable sat up we’ll wait a while longer x

my son is 4 and a half months right now, but his pediatrician told me last week I can start at 5 but I may wait a bit longer.

6 months, shouldn’t be any earlier unless there is a medical reason and you have been recommended by a paediatrician

First baby was 5.5 months old (4.5 months corrected) due to reflux, CMPA and poor weight gain which was recommended by the hospital.

Second baby was also 5.5 months old as he was drinking nearly 50oz of milk in a 24 hour period and he would’ve drank more if he could. He also showed all signs of readiness

Solids when he had teeth an he was able to move food around his mouth, purées from 6 months

6 months, as recommended.
There are no benefits to starting solid foods earlier than 6 months, but there are plenty of risks

(Unless there is a legitimate medical reason)

6 months is recommended by nhs as their gut isn’t ready prior

5.5 months, she showed all signs of readiness otherwise we would have waited. She is loving her solids!

We started 2 weeks earlier than the recommendations as baby was ready but with only one ingredient at a week cooked and strained into breastmilk. So basically just a very very tiny flavour to start with. Then we continued with purees into breastmilk and gradually increased the solid and decreased the breastmilk in his solid.

Around 9 month we went blw. Baby likes food, and trying everything. 😊😊
