My baby is going to be 9 months at Christmas can he have a Christmas dinner like we do or does it have to be blended

At that age I just gave them everything we had and just cut it up in really small pieces so they couldn't choke.

My baby will be 9 months for thanksgiving dinner and we will be giving foods not blended, cautiously of course! 🥰 do you baby led wean?

What are the meats he can have bc I know they can’t have salt bc we are planning on having gammon and beef would I have to buy a chicken breast for him and have it plain

They can have Christmas dinner from the off (as long as you’ve tested allergens) x

I give my baby gammon he eats it how we eat it besides roast pot for his 6mo we went carvery he loved it

Just give how you have it. Check solid starts for how to serve each item according to age & if they've developed their pincer grasp

At 6 months they can start having normal food in prices. You can do solid starts app like others have suggested to show how to cut it. But you can do normal food. Just don’t do honey. But if you forget it’s not gonna be the end of the world. With my first for thanksgiving we gave him honey ham he was 8 months old we completely forgot oh no honey before 1 but he was totally fine. So I’m general try to stay away. But little pieces of normal dinner is totally fine after 6 months

They can definitely have everything you have at that age. Just watch out for added salt as thats not recommended until after 12 months and make sure its cut/prepared in a safe way for them.

My daughter started preschool 2 weeks ago. When I picked her up one day last week her key worker said she hadn’t ate her lunch and asked how her eating was at home. Today when I picked her up she said she hadn’t ate her lunch again and said if she continues to not eat she’ll have to just do mornings. My issue is she went on to say she’s SO small so she can’t go without eating (with such an attitude) and just basically started making digs about her. I looked in her lunch box once we’d left and she’d eaten a cheese sandwich, sausage roll, babybel, yoghurt, strawberries and blueberries. All she had left was crisps and a belvita bar. They also get 2 snacks from preschool so I feel like that’s more than enough for a 2 year old. I don’t understand why she would say she’d eaten nothing and make such a big deal when she ate majority of it. She then carried on making digs about her saying she’s stubborn (what 2 year old isn’t) and they have to tell her no a lot. I say making digs again because she wasn’t just telling me she had an attitude and was basically just complaining about her. It’s left a really bad taste in my mouth and when I asked my toddler if she had a good day she said no (she always comes out happy saying she’s had a good day) and when I asked her why she said my teacher

Activity ideas for 1yo and 3yr olds

I'm struggling. I take my boys outside every single day but they're still so full of energy. They don't stay very busy inside and I can't get much done. What are some activities or toys that keep your kids busy around these ages? We read books daily and they like to pretend to "clean" lately but im looking for other ideas please!

I have a 2yo toddler and I’m thinking about getting him a reward chart. I’ve done a bit of reading and it looks like there are split opinions on whether they are good or bad for development. I’d welcome any advice people have their own experience or research ♥️
