I haven’t had a full night sleep in 8 months. It’s a type of exhaustion I didn’t even know existed. I’ve tried so many things and it doesn’t help. She only sleeps 3hr stretches max. Any advice?!

I assume you are breastfeeding ? Give a bottle before bed of breast milk or formula like 6 ounces to fill the tank .
I’m not 😩 she’s 100% bottle fed. Both formula and pumped breastmilk. Mostly formula though

Does she sleep in her own room yet? Once I put mine in his own crib/room he started sleeping through the night. He’s veryyy well fed before hand. Bath routine every night after dinner. Our winding down schedule helps then I do one last nurse and rock until he falls asleep. He’s then placed belly down in his crib with a sound machine on all night

My 2 year old still wake 2-4 times a night. She’s never been a good sleeper. Shes in her own bed, in her own room, and she stills wakes up for milk multiple times a night. Following up see if there’s anyone else who has experienced this

6 months in. I'm also still in the trenches of middle of the night feeds. I'm slowly realizing that some times she just needs to fuss. She woke up at 4am and in the time it took me to get up, make a bottle and come back - she fell back asleep for an hour. I HATE hearing her cry but someone suggested just letting them cry for 5 minutes and see if they settle themselves back to sleep... i need to take this advice lol
Baby is currently 4 weeks old…I love her to bits but I DREAD her wake windows, as horrible as that sounds😖
She’s rarely content or happy when she’s awake. If she’s awake she’s crying or screaming. I actually get scared for when she might wake up because she gets herself in such a state.
Has anyone else felt this way? Or am I just an awful mum lol.
Im hoping this gets better once baby is a bit older & can interact more with things/play/laugh etc

Does anyone else absolutely hate the newborn stage? So many of my friends love to borrow him for "newborn snuggles" or whatever but I just can't bring myself to care and just leave him to sleep in his crib as much as possible. I just feel so disconnected from my baby... and in hindsight, I had this with my first 2 as well - I keep them alive but wouldn't say I truly bond with them until 6 months+...
Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I can't openly talk about it with friends/family without serious judgement though I finally admitted it to my husband last night - I don't think I ever admitted it (even to myself) with my first 2. Is something wrong with me?

I had my first ultrasound and I found out my due date is May 11 and my daughter’s birthday is May 9th. I cried for about 15min straight lbvs I was already feeling guilty then I find this out on top of that I have had ZERO energy. I haven’t been wanting to play with my daughter and I feel like a shitty mom. My husband has been stepping up a lot and playing with her but now she seems to have gotten so much closer to him 😭😭😭😭 She’s like all
About her dad now and I feel heartbroken 😭

Baby’s 5 days old and will not sleep in the next to me no matter what we try. I’ve tried rocking it, hot water bottle to warm it, swaddled him, sleeping bag and sleepyhead (controversial I know).
Any suggestions, just want some hours sleep🥲

My LO is 6 months old. We live in London with no immediate family close by. When we do visit, LO has mostly cried when anyone else has held her.
I don’t like seeing her distressed. So when she cries I prefer to take her back to soothe her. My partners sister once wanted to keep hold of her to soothe her herself and LO ended up crying herself to sleep.
I’ve been thinking that she will grow put of this when she builds confidence and independence and not to force and distress her if she cries when held.
It’s difficult though as i feel like my partners family think I dont want anyone to hold her and im controlling for not allowing her to cry.
Any advice? Or is normal to just let them cry?
