HELPP my baby is 5 months and when I put her down for a nap I usually just put her in the bed and walk out of the room and she goes to sleep on her own. But lately she’s been rolling over on her stomach and I’ll have to go back into the room and flip her back onto her back and it’s a continuous cycle till she goes to sleep lol what should I do? She doesn’t know how to go stomach to back yet but knows how to roll back to stomach.

You can’t really do anything. Just make sure the sleep space is still safe or move her to a cot if you’re not comfortable with her on her front on the bed

If baby can get there she will be okay, it’s nerve wrecking at first but as Helen said previously just make it a safe sleep environment

Is she waking up when she rolls over? It's fine for babies to sleep on their stomach if they get there themselves.

Its fine if she rolls herself on her stomach. Most babies sleep better on their stomachs.

My baby will only sleep on her stomach, and it’s ok if that’s how your little one wants to sleep. Just make sure there’s nothing in the crib with them. Let them sleep how it’s comfortable. They will stay asleep longer!!
Baby is currently 4 weeks old…I love her to bits but I DREAD her wake windows, as horrible as that sounds😖
She’s rarely content or happy when she’s awake. If she’s awake she’s crying or screaming. I actually get scared for when she might wake up because she gets herself in such a state.
Has anyone else felt this way? Or am I just an awful mum lol.
Im hoping this gets better once baby is a bit older & can interact more with things/play/laugh etc

Does anyone else absolutely hate the newborn stage? So many of my friends love to borrow him for "newborn snuggles" or whatever but I just can't bring myself to care and just leave him to sleep in his crib as much as possible. I just feel so disconnected from my baby... and in hindsight, I had this with my first 2 as well - I keep them alive but wouldn't say I truly bond with them until 6 months+...
Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I can't openly talk about it with friends/family without serious judgement though I finally admitted it to my husband last night - I don't think I ever admitted it (even to myself) with my first 2. Is something wrong with me?

I had my first ultrasound and I found out my due date is May 11 and my daughter’s birthday is May 9th. I cried for about 15min straight lbvs I was already feeling guilty then I find this out on top of that I have had ZERO energy. I haven’t been wanting to play with my daughter and I feel like a shitty mom. My husband has been stepping up a lot and playing with her but now she seems to have gotten so much closer to him 😭😭😭😭 She’s like all
About her dad now and I feel heartbroken 😭

Baby’s 5 days old and will not sleep in the next to me no matter what we try. I’ve tried rocking it, hot water bottle to warm it, swaddled him, sleeping bag and sleepyhead (controversial I know).
Any suggestions, just want some hours sleep🥲

My LO is 6 months old. We live in London with no immediate family close by. When we do visit, LO has mostly cried when anyone else has held her.
I don’t like seeing her distressed. So when she cries I prefer to take her back to soothe her. My partners sister once wanted to keep hold of her to soothe her herself and LO ended up crying herself to sleep.
I’ve been thinking that she will grow put of this when she builds confidence and independence and not to force and distress her if she cries when held.
It’s difficult though as i feel like my partners family think I dont want anyone to hold her and im controlling for not allowing her to cry.
Any advice? Or is normal to just let them cry?
