I gave my little ones rice when weaning but I’d cook it from scratch instead of the packets. I just overcooked it slightly so it was a bit sticky and mushy and was easy for them to pick up with their hands

Yes they can unless it has honey. They just usually say that age because a lot of people don’t do solids or just purées or whatever. But we would do it if we had it.
Sorry for the rant but I need to get it off my chest to people who hopefully understand my point of view.
My husband works a Mon-Fri job 7.30am- 5.00pm. This week has been their stock take so he's stayed behind Tues, Wed, Fri and worked Saturday. I've got a growth scan booked for Tuesday next week and I've asked him 3 times to come and he says he can't get time off work. And just for context he is the manager at his work.
Am I being unreasonable in thinking he should spare 2 hours to come to the hospital with me?
From my point of view, what if I have the scan and something is wrong? Then I'm by myself and he's over an hour away from the hospital.
Or do I just need to suck it up and go by myself.

I need to have a rant and would welcome supportive messages back.
I’m having money troubles with my partner and it’s getting really difficult. I am currently taking all the financial stress while on maternity leave as he chose to leave his job at the end of August. He’s now going back to his job but not until mid-end of October so the strain is on me. He also wants to take a two week trip before he goes back to work but hasn’t shared any money and is expecting it to be paid by me…
Every time I raise money or go to talk to him about work he flips out, shouts and then goes quiet and refuses to talk to me.
I’m at a loss as what to do because I just need him to understand how I’m feeling, it’s a lot of pressure with a 2-month old.

Help !I genuinely don’t know what to think about this situation.
I’ve been with my husband for around 8 years and we’ve been married for 3 years. I really care about our marriage and our relationship, which is why this has affected me so much.
Recently, I accidentally came across some hidden chats on his phone. I clicked on one of them and saw that a woman had sent him a video of a sexual nature.
When I confronted him about it, he became very protective of the chats and wouldn’t let me see what else had been said. I asked him to show me because I needed some context and, honestly, I needed reassurance and closure. Instead, he kept saying there was nothing wrong, that there was nothing for me to find, and that I just needed to believe him.
Eventually, he deleted the chats.
His explanation is that he panicked because there were other personal things in the chats that he didn’t want me to see. He says there was nothing inappropriate going on and that I’m interpreting his reaction as something more than it was.
Since then, he has been begging me to believe him and saying things like he won’t do it again. But that’s actually making me more confused because I keep thinking, what exactly is he saying he won’t do again if, according to him, there was nothing wrong in the first place?
I feel like I’ve been lied to, and I’m struggling to trust what he’s telling me. At the same time, I know I don’t have the full context because the chats were deleted.
I’m not necessarily asking people to tell me that he’s cheating. I genuinely want outside perspectives. Am I being unreasonable for feeling suspicious and finding his explanation difficult to believe? Or is it possible that there is a completely innocent explanation for his behaviour?
If you were in my position, would you be able to take his word for it, or would the secrecy, his reaction and the deletion of the chats make you question things too?

Last night, I found out that my husband has been unfaithful to me in circumstances that I find extremely distressing and humiliating.
It appears that when we travelled to my hometown on holiday, he either went to a brothel or contacted a sex worker online. What makes this particularly devastating is that it did not end there. He continued communicating with this woman, developed feelings for her, sent her a significant amount of money, and apparently made plans and promises to bring her to the UK. He was planning to eventually leave me and our young child and have her come here instead.
I only discovered all of this last night and I am in complete shock. I feel deeply betrayed and humiliated, and at the moment I am struggling to process what has happened or even think clearly.
I have not slept at all since finding out. I have been experiencing severe anxiety, constant nausea, diarrhoea, palpitations and a feeling of emptiness in my stomach. Despite not sleeping, I still feel extremely alert and unable to switch off.
On top of the emotional shock, I am extremely frightened about my future. I am not financially independent and I do not know how I would be able to continue living in the UK as a single mother or support myself and my child on my own. I suddenly feel as though my entire life, my family and my sense of security have been taken away from me at once.
I am also completely alone here with my young child and I do not have family or anyone nearby who can support me or take over childcare while I recover. I am finding it extremely difficult to cope with both the emotional shock and the physical symptoms, and I need some support to help me get through this immediate crisis.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys I have a 3 years and 9 months old daughter and she is potty trained but yet she only wants to poop in her diaper. I am so frustrated and don’t know what to do. If I won’t put the diaper on she won’t poop for a day or two. I feel like a bad mother.
Any tips please
