Hi all,
I’m just looking for some advice, my little one is 12 weeks and we really need to stop using his Moses basket. He was in his next to me when he was a new born but he’d often thrash about in it and I wondered if it was too big for him. He’s been in it recently and would sleep for a few hours and then wake himself up and wouldn’t go back down. When I’ve watched him it seems like as his arms drop down near his head, his startle reflex sets off. He was crying last time and I got him out and laid him on the bed for a minute whilst I made a bottle and he fell straight to sleep 😅
Could the mattress be too firm?! Is that a thing? I don’t know what else to do but I can’t keep trying to get him back to sleep every hour or so after that initial few hours 🤔 should I try a different next to me? Currently got a joie roomie!
Thanks everyone ✨

Could you not get his cot next to your bed? One where the side drops down. Its what im going to do next. As my baby is a larger sized baby, so it will be soon he's too big for it. I wouldn't buy another next to me when they'll be not needing it soon. Xx

Is he rolling yet? What does he wear to bed?

Have you tried checking his temperature? My son gets too hot in sleep sack and wakes up crying.
Wanting advice on co-sleeping , do you co sleep with your baby and where does your partner sleep? We have co slept since baby was 1 month old and partner has slept on the sofa, she is now 3 months old and I’m starting to miss my partner

My husband works during the week and I’m on mat leave. I start my LO bedtime routine at 8pm and she needs to be held to sleep (she’s 12 weeks) so basically my bedtime has now become the same as hers. During the week he doesn’t get up at night to help with the baby because of work and he needs his rest but on the weekends he stays up all night playing video games and will complain that he couldn’t sleep.
I feel like if he’s up anyway, he could help with putting her to sleep but since she’s EBF, he will use the excuse that he can’t feed her so he can’t. Is it fair for me to be upset about this?
Edit: will also add that on weekends , he will wake up around 2pm but then will spend a few hours with her and encourages me to do something for myself. But it’s the nights that get me!

Hi mummas, I am honestly at a complete loss. My 9 month old is waking up every single night completely wet through. I have tried everything - Pampers (baby dry, premium protection & pull ups), Rascals & Peachies. I’ve tried different sizes of each brand. I’ve tried no vest. I’ve tried adjusting the way I put on the nappy. I’ve even tried putting on two nappies. Absolutely nothing is working. Has anyone else been in this situation? If so, what did you do please?!

We have booked a holiday abroad for April of which baby will be 5 months old by then - what do people suggest in terms of making sure baby has car seat/pushchair for the holiday without taking too much? I want to make sure he is safe and comfortable for the holiday xx

My daughter is eight months. She’s been crawling for a month now. Starting to get into things and grabbing things. Starting to throw herself back and cry when she doesn’t get her way. When do I start telling her no and letting her cry it out? Usually I hand her a toy or put on a show she likes. She already kind of listen to me. Example whenever we’re in the living room she crawls towards my cart I have set out for me with her stuff on it, I’ll say her name She’ll turn her around and look at me. I’ll tell her to come here/back and she’ll come. She knows the sign for milk and play so she’s very smart I just don’t know when I should start telling her no and be firm cause I’m not sure she understand that yet. I hope I make sense lol
