If you could live your life again with the same knowledge you have now, would you choose to have children?
Take out of the equation who your children are.
I had such a blessed life before children. And I feel like overall, I’m definitely a more stressed, angry and sad person than I was before. If I knew what I knew now, I don’t think I would do it. I know that sounds really harsh but I think the people who decide not to have kids are the ones who have really done their research and had proper hands on experience dealing with kids for extended periods of time.
I think you’d be lying if you didn’t have this thought before, even just got a fleeting second of your life….

I fully understand this question and I see how you can feel this way. I’m a shell of the person I was before kids. However, in my case, my kids have made me a better version of me. Once I get past the tired and stressed emotions, my kids have me a purpose in life and I wouldn’t trade that for anything. Even on our worst days, I still love being “mom”. I’m just still navigating how to be mom and still have stuff for myself. But it’s a journey I love!

My baby was very unexpected, like so unexpected her father and I were long distance during the pregnancy. And I feel happy to say that I would do it all again. I think I would’ve been happy without her also because my life back then was very fulfilling still but I’m happy I have her and if I was given the option I would chose her again. I think the only downside is I was a prek teacher so going from 20 kids to one can be boring sometimes lol. But if I were you I would try to look into getting therapy if you haven’t already. There are a lot of affordable options out there and it might help you mind coping mechanisms for when you’re feeling overwhelmed

If every women was to rewind and not have children the world would literally decline. Our children are the future! It's pretty vital that we have them. Also I'm guessing yours kids are still young, you could also look at this question again once you've raised your children and they all moved out! The sadness once they are gone makes you realize they were your everything and you've learnt over the years from them! I have adult , teens, kids and toddlers! I'm in all walks of things I've been through the exhaustion of babies, the stress and curious maybe devious toddlers even bratty kids and hormonal bossy teens, let me say this once they are adults and move out it's like your grieve someone you lost! You never know the last hug kiss or I need you mom... they're just gone and grown!

I will say this though the people I know in my life that chose not to have them yes they seem happier at times and care free. No worries less stress even look younger to me BUT I know older ladies now that didn't have children and for me they seem lonely!

Okay let's break this down. First, are you being supported by your spouse? Do you get time to yourself? Also, was your mom and dad Dad nurturing to you as a child?
I know children are so much work but in my eyes they are so beautiful and wonderful. I love being with my baby boy everyday, watching him be funny, and brilliant. Tucking himself in bed with me in the morning and giving me a kiss and running his little baby hands through my hair. I was upset this morning because I haven't slept right in three years but I am crying now thinking of all the beautiful moments that are brought into my life through my child. Where would you be now without your little ones?

Overall, yes I knew how hard it would be to have children, and yes Im still grateful for them every day even during the worst tantrums even if I’m thinking…. Ok, let’s go to sleep already….
Anyone help I’m a nervous wreck I don’t know what to think as I thought I was further and would see something as I tested negative on the 16th September and then positive on the 18th September and LMP was the 18th August I’m worried I’m miscarrying

Wow I started feeling huge fatigue and nausea at 10 dpo, I’m 12 dpo and I can’t remember feeling it this early last pregnancy I had with my son. Anyone else feeling it super early on? I know it can be very normal. I’ve got a full on but rewarding job driving around schools doing Music Therapy and mental health support and I’m wondering how much I’ll need to step back on and how soon. Going to take it day by day week by week!

Anyone around 32 years old with PCOS and do IVF? Just decided to proceed with doing IVF and my doctor recommends a frozen transfer since I have PCOS and at an increased risk for OHSS. Anyone have any advice or success stories for me?!
