Redundancy during maternity leave

I would speak to Acas. They're a free government funded service to support in employment disputes. You can call them for impartial advice.

Sorry to hear you’ve been made redundant, it’s awful regardless but of course worse during pregnancy/mat leave. If they are making you redundant legitimately following the correct process, I would be surprised if they are offering you a settlement as they should have laid out redundancy pay within consultation if enough people are being made redundant.

Settlement agreement is pretty standard if they are paying out above statutory requirements. Ask your team who they're using. I've just had similar happen and as there were so many people being made redundant my company identified some independent firms for us to save us the hassle of searching individually
