at home he is happy and content ,however when he’s doing something that he shouldn’t be doing I tell him no and move him away from it he has a huge meltdown and will smack his head repeatedly or throw himself backwards and hit his head purposely off the floor or walls . When we go to leave the flat he has a meltdown because he doesn’t want to go in his pushchair and will fight me as I’m getting him strapped in , whist waiting for the lift to leave the flat he will twist and flip himself and climb out of the pushchair whilst screaming and crying so I’ll put him back in and we get to the bus stop , whilst waiting for the bus he repeats this behaviour. Then when we’re finally on the bus he repeats this behaviour for the entire journey , however if I let him out of the pushchair and put him on a seat he still continues the behaviour, except trying to climb off the seat rather than pushchair . When we go to the shops he does this the entire time , I try EVERYTHING to soothe him and nothing works , I’ve also tried carrying him but he has meltdown to get off me , I’ve tried reins so he can walk but he has a meltdown until the reins are off him and it isnt safe for him to be free because he runs off towards roads and places he shouldn’t and he physically won’t stay in the pushchair

I’d say completely normal, went through this with my daughter and it put me off ever leaving the house with her🤣 27 months now and she occasionally has a meltdown when she can’t get her way but it definitely gets easier! X
My milk has just come in today. I was just wondering how do I shower as I’ve heard a lot of mixed advice. Am I supposed to leave my bra on in the shower?

My infant is 8 weeks old and I love her more than anything but it’s getting a little overwhelming as I feel like a single mom sometimes. My boyfriend is in school and he works part time which I understand he can’t help but during the night he never gets up to feed her a bottle and I am barely getting any sleep. During the day when he is home he is mostly playing video games and only really helps for maybe an hour or two. I have her all day which is also hard because she is in the habit of not wanting to sleep in her bassinet but on me so I honestly never have time to take a nap, shower or even cook sometimes. I tried bringing it up but it just made him feel bad and nothing changed. I would love advice on how to talk to him about this without making him upset.

I am overwhelmed by the amount of strollers options and prices, I have a 3 month old and I would like an easier stroller to take in and out of the car that has pockets and big storage space underneath. Any recommendations? Also something that I would be able to add a second kid in the future.

How often is your babies nappy being changed at nursery? My son is 15MO and is in nursery 7.30 to 4. They’ll change it roughly 3/4 times in this time. I change him in the morning before he goes and will usually change him when he comes home, plus fresh nappy for bed. He’s come home with a horrendous nappy rash on his balls and groin underneath, clearly hurts him. Mortified for him. I will be asking them to change him more often but I don’t know how often is normal

So my daughter is going through this funny little phase where she screams bloody murder before she is exhausted and eventually falls asleep. I’ve tried rocking, swaying, bouncing, burping, feeding and then burping, going outside, changing and eventually after 30-45 minutes she falls asleep on my chest. Transferring her during naps is absolutely a no go in her world. She sleeps fine in her cradle after we do our bath and bed routine. I mean I can feed her, change her diaper and burp her, lay her in the bedside cradle and she passes out sucking her thumb. She has her two month wellness check and I’m definitely going to mention it to her pediatrician. I feel like her screaming the way she’s been is not in her realm of normal. There’s no fever, she doesn’t seem sick and eats completely normal aside from when she gets like this when she’s tired.
Is anyone else going through this?? Seriously. Idk if it’s me or if I’m just doing everything wrong.
I want to start a group chat as well. I’m located in PA and would LOVE to make some friends in my area.
