How do you get the spark back?! All I see is people going away for the night with their partner or having quality time together, but we can’t do that, we have no one to look after them. Other than nursery we have no other childcare what so ever. We feel like lodgers and desperately need to get the spark back, has anyone else been in this position and what did you do?!

Plan at home date nights for when baby is asleep , be intentional with the time
You spend together in the evenings maybe once a week after kids are in bed no phones just the two of you … think outside the box , just because you can’t go out doesn’t mean you can’t do quality time … also do daytime dates so both book a day off work whilst the kids are in nursery and go on a date

How old is your baby? Because I just got my spark back after 20 months. Apparently it’s like 1.5-2.5 years after having a baby for women to feel like themselves again. I had no idea it was that long. I have zero childcare, I’m a SAHM and moved 5000 miles away from both of our families. We’ve never had a night out without the baby. I felt like my life was literally just making him dinner and looking after the baby, but then suddenly something woke up inside of me again, literally overnight, and I actually want to be close to him again

We find the time when kids are in bed. Create movie nights or special dinners at home with the kids then movie night/cuddle time. Sometimes its hard to plan especially when you're exhausted, fall asleep early, etc. But all depending on your situation, a day time nap helps that a bit. Paired with some playful promise clothing and you'll be on your second or third kid like me 🤣🤣🤣 it definitely takes some planning and effort or else you'll be roommates. That feeling is very annoying when you have no you and him time xx

Can’t offer any advice but just wanted to know you’re not alone, exactly the same here!

We often have date lunch 1 weekend a month. My husband gets my toddler and the dog out for an hour long walk while I prep a nice cooked lunch. We feed our son his normaly lunch, put him down for a nap and eat our own meal and watch a film. If we don't finish the film then we finish it once little one is in bed for the night

I'll make this short, my fiancee does nightshift I don't ask much from my him im always the one taking care of our son, cleaning, making food, ect. So he has nothing to worry about when hes off my frustration is today I needed to go to town and he got up earlier then normal 3:00 and he said he would be awake because he cant go back to sleep, so I asked if he could take me to town because I had errands to run and I really needed to do them because I would have absolutely no time the rest of the week. And he started complaining he didn't want to go anywhere because he wanted rest and basically a day off... and so yes apart of me kinda got a bit upset because damn... I would love a day off actually, no responsibilities from our child from cleaning cooking ect running errands, but why is it he gets a day off? Why does he get absolutely no responsibilities besides staying in his room playing video games and relaxing, I haven't gotten that kinda rest since our sons been born my relax time is at night when he goes to bed.. but even then I have to do dishes ect reset. Then when I brought it up to him he just shut down the conversation and I wasn't being hostile I was just genuinely asking like I also work a full time job like he does and I get home and do stuff, why is it I ask one thing which is to be taken to town and it becomes a whole issue....

Is anyone else beyond exhausted with everything and everyone?
I’m a single mom, once again, except now me and BD live together (FM-healing).
I work full time as a receptionist at a post acute rehab for seniors, which should be the easiest thing in my life, but is actually the absolute worse, because the nurses are miserable and rude, so are the patients, and I am the punching bag.
I decided this year that I was going to sign back up for school, so now I’m in an accelerated program that feels like hell. Not to mention that I decided to sign myself up for the board, because I thought it would be a chance for me to make friends and be around like-minded go-getters, just to be the person who carries everyone’s weight.
I never get to see my baby, except for at night time, and by then I am emotionally and physically exhausted from the day that the last thing I want to do is sit on the floor and play cars with him, which makes me feel like the worse mom ever. Did I mention, I’m still in love with his dad?
Ten, Sixteen, and Twenty-five year old me dreamed of this life for so long, but never knew this is what I was asking for. Sometimes I wish I could just disappear, and sometimes I wonder if anyone would even notice.

Devastated newly single mom. Trying to cope with this sudden change. Was a sahm and my husband is now with another woman after us trying for a long time to work out our marriage. He lied and cheated and hid so many things and even cheated before we were married and I didn’t know til years later he admitted it. I still tried to work on it through our church support system and pastor and it ended up all worse when it became more complicated and we had to physically separate he found another woman within a month and is with her now. I am having no contact with him now but just last month was talking to him daily. And still trying to work. He told me he had slept with her and he wanted to and was no apologetic or remorseful. We are dealing with a difficult divorce and custody issues now too. I’m alone with my daughter and not much family around. It’s killing me everyday I cry so hard and am barely coping.
