Can’t leave the room while baby sleeps

My baby who I co sleep with does not let me leave the room. It’s as though he can sense I’m not next to him. He’s 16 weeks and I just want my evenings back. Any advice? And no, putting a top that smells like me next to him does NOT work

Just 10 days ago, I started sleep training my boy who is exactly the same. He’s 18 weeks old. And this past week I’ve seen huge change! I’ve not quite got him in his crib, but he’s sleeping through the night without being Velcro’d to me. I’m using huckleberry and it’s been amazing. Anddd we’ve made progress whilst we’ve all had a horrendous cold!

I've had phases of this with both my boys, and seems like its just starting to improve again with my second. Have you experimented with waiting different amounts of time to roll away? I have found I need to wait until my baby is in a deep sleep. Have also read that almost half waking and resettling baby as they would come to the end of one sleep cycle and start the next can help (if that makes any sense?). I think this is likely the stage where baby is adjusting to new shorter sleep cycles and cant yet link them together, but may continue sleeping when you are there or having a contact nap, but will wake up after a sleep cycle which can be as short as 20 mins if you are no longer cuddled up.

Struggling with gender..

We found our baby is a baby girl this weekend.. I have been convinced she was a girl the entire pregnancy so it wasn’t a shock at all but just hearing it officially… of course I love her and I’m not evil, it’s just a lot to adjust and I am feeling really stressed and a bit sad really. I feel guilty that I’m not as excited as I should be and currently don’t want people to know because I’m not ready to be super happy about it yet.

I have always pictured my life with a son one day and, for very personal reasons and life experiences, I feel a lot of stress when thinking about protecting and raising a baby girl in this world which I’m sure people can relate…

I am worried about protecting her, I am worried about not feeling the same bond from her as a son, amongst a multitude of other things. I am not feeling excited to buy frilly dresses or go to dance classes and I know it will all settle and logically I won’t imagine life without her and I do love her, it’s just overwhelming me..

Any advice… 🌸

Footlong Penis🍆😮

Adding to all this penis talk lol
Don’t ask me how this came up but my husband was sharing his crazy patient surgery stories and randomly tells me about “the biggest penis he’s ever seen”. Reasonably I burst out laughing because those are words I never expected him to ever say 😅.
Anyways he goes on to tell me how before the surgery he meets with this patient, who goes on to tell him about STI’s and STD’s gotten due to his extensive sexual history.
My husband says when he was on the table it all clicked and he understood why this guy had so many girlfriends 😂🤣 he compared it to a footlong and is very clinical in general so I truly believe him.
All this to say I’m flabbergasted a penis that big even exists and I now need to know if anyone has had large penis run-ins with past partners?!

car recommendations!

Hi mamas!!

I’m currently looking for cars as i go back to work in a few months.

I don’t want a huge car as i hate driving them but want a decent sized one to be able to fit all my baby’s things - ie car seat with isofix and pram.

I only have 1 child but need something reliable.

Could you give me any suggestions? x
