I am also the same, currently in early pregnancy and have 1 family member who’s 70+ and see once a month, fiance is a professional athlete and is constantly in training camp and only get to see him some weekends, I’m only a message away if you need some company, even if it’s just a phone call I’ve felt having someone on the other end of the phone has been helpful💞

🙋🏽♀️ hi it's me, I'm anyone. Mine is also 14 weeks and I've been really struggling with loneliness postpartum as my partner works long hours, and we only moved to our current town in the past year so I'm still trying to meet people, don't drive, and don't have any family local. Super grateful for my little one, but it's definitely rough. You're not alone x
I’m trying to apply for the 30 hours funding in preparation for when my baby starts childcare in January. He is currently 10.5 months old.
The question “Will you earn at least £203.36 a week, before tax, for the next 3 months?”
I’m not sure how to answer as I’m currently on the unpaid part of SMP. From 1st December I’ll be using annual leave so technically back to work. Do I answer no as it’s asking about now? Or is it asking about when I’m back?

So my boyfriend and I recently found out we’re having a baby, I’m almost 10 weeks and things have been extremely rocky. I’m constantly in fear that he’s going to leave so in my anger I always try to leave before he does and that leads to bigger problems. Today we got into an argument because I saw him call a female at 3am the other day & it seems as if other calls in his call log have been deleted. He claims she’s “just an old friend” but I’ve used that excuse in the past (before we were dating, I’ve never cheated on him) In my anger I told him I was done and didn’t want to be with him anymore & that blew up. I immediately regretted it & apologized and tried to reassure him that I really do want us to be a strong parental unit for our child together but now he’s acting like we TRULY need to break up. I feel as though I can’t do this without him & I really don’t want to. Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve been feeling a little down today. My best friend since 7th grade usually wishes me a happy birthday, but this year I didn’t hear anything from her. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it honestly hurt a little.
I guess I just miss having a friend I can hang out with, go thrifting, and do little things with without feeling like being pregnant has changed everything. I know things are different now, and I can’t do everything I used to, but I still want to have fun and make memories. I miss how close we used to be, and sometimes I wish I had a friend who understood that becoming a mom doesn’t mean I stopped being me.

Long story short.
Im in a situation where i need to earn maybe a minimum of £34,500 annually before tax to be able to afford life with my son. I have experience in hospitality but nothing else. No bachelors, no special qualifications, cant drive, no experience. I know it sounds stupid and obvious but i cant find a job. Not even one that has the potential to earn more over the next year. It needs to be term time if i need to go there in person leaving time for drop off/pick up for my child. Alternatively be fully remote. What on earth am i supposed to do because im getting zero help trying to fix this problem of mine even from people who's job it is to help me get into work. They keep telling me to just "get a job, dont worry about money"... how the fuck can i not worry about money? Life is money in this economy.

I really want to create a community where mums can get some breathing space, share honestly about motherhood without any judgement, and connect during late-night hours. The good, the bad, celebrate the tiny wins and support the hard times. Does this interest anyone?
