No viability of pregnancy
So according to my dates i am 7 weeks pregnant. I went for a private scan today. The lady said im measuring way too small for 7 weeks and i could be 4 weeks. She said i could have ovulated later but i took lh strips so i know the date i ovulated. She said she cant confirm the viability of the pregnancy and called me back in 2 weeks. Im stressing so much as recently ive noticed symptoms such a nausea and breast tenderness has disappeared. Ive been pregnant before but this time something feels off. I dont wana spend the next 2 weeks second guessing my pregnancy. Anyone been in a similar situation?

Hi Laza, I had a private scan at what I thought was 6 weeks and they dated me 5 weeks only seeing a gestational sac. So they told me I was behind and they couldn't confirm viability. Anyway fast forward a week I had a scan at the early pregnancy unit for other reasons. They also dated me a week behind, but they saw a heartbeat. Implantation can also happen later. When was your first positive test?
I’m sorry you’re going through this. I had this happen a few times to me and when the difference was so much it didn’t end well unfortunately. The only time it ended well for me it was when the difference was just about a week and I think it was actually something wrong with their measurements because by the next scan it was right on track.

Appointment
Hey all,
I had my 12 week scan yesterday - all good and healthy with the baby. However today I’ve got an appointment letter through for ‘consultant obstetric care’ in 2 weeks time. I’ve had no phone call or note as to what this appointment is for.
Has anyone had anything similar?
I’ve got my 20 week scan through for December and my diabetes test through for January so it’s not linked to those.

Emergency C Section Recovery
Had an emergency c section a week ago today which was quite bad as I was 9.5cm dilated and ended up with other complications.
I thought I would be a bit more mobile by now but still feeling so sore especially on one side of my scar. Guess just wanted to understand anyone else’s experiences and recovery process and if there is anything I can do to reduce the scar it looks big and raised at the moment!!

Lava
So not only do I struggle to sleep past 2/3am, the throat lava of acid reflux is quite literally the worst… any tips? Gaviscon gets regularly used

3D ultrasound at 18 weeks?!
Did anyone do a 3D ultrasound at 18 weeks? Trying to figure out if it’s worth it or if it’s too early to have an enjoyable experience or see any of her features!
