Hi my 4 1/2 month old baby will almost only sleep in the pram during the day. We have to put her in the pram and take her out for walks in order for her to go to sleep. I have tried just pushing the pram back-and-forth in the garden but it rarely works. I’ve also tried doing it in the house that almost never works. I’ve tried rocking her to sleep. I’ve tried putting her in a dark room during the day. Does anyone have any advice on how I can try and get my daughter to take daytime naps where I’m not having to put her in a pram and walk her, obviously with the weather turning colder. I’m very reluctant to have to leave the house 4 to 5 times a day and walk just so I can get her to nap.

4.5m they should be on 3 ish solid naps.
Have you considered sleep training?
We did this at 5m and it was the best thing we ever did. After we had a solid routine, I had space to shower and relax during naps etc xx

i’ve found baby wearing amazing, using a baby carrier, if he isn’t settling in my arms the carrier is a winner every time for a solid nap xx

4/5 naps is quite a few for that age. If you're struggling to get her down for them it could be that she needs fewer naps in the day.

Lengthen wake windows.. try and push for 15-30 mins more and see how she does. Then she might be more tired for each nap so might settle easier, and have longer and therefore fewer naps.
Is she still small enough to go in a wrap/ sling? That might make her feel cosy too
I have a 13 day old and I have been able to make enough Milk to feed my baby. Im a first time mom, so i dont know alot about babies and I have a lack of exposure to them growing up.
I currently have the philips Avant natural bottle with the super slow nipple (size 1). I noticed that my daughter takes very little volume (varies from 10 to 50 ml max per feed). My health care provider told me we should feed her atleast 70 ml per feed now, because she is lagging behind her target weight.
We already adjusted the house temp to 21 to 23 celsius and consistently feed her during her window. Is there something i should try? Help! Photo for easier tracking 😀

The top is a year postpartum and the bottom is a couple months postpartum!

Baby is 5 days old, my boobs are massive, haven’t been able to establish a latch at all, have had to express my milk and use a bottle (I know bottle is easier for baby than boob) is all hope lost for them to ever latch? :( he cries and cries when my nipple is in his mouth and just won’t latch.

Is anyone else struggling with this postpartum? 💔
I don't know if this is postpartum anxiety, emotional exhaustion, or years of hurt finally catching up with me. I'm just trying to understand if anyone else has felt this way.
Lately, I've been spiralling over things my MIL said to me almost four years ago. Things that happened years back, but somehow, my mind keeps bringing them up as if they happened yesterday.
I have the awareness to know that I'm spiralling. I know I can't change the past. But I feel like I have absolutely no control over my thoughts.
I keep replaying conversations, remembering how certain things made me feel, thinking about what I should have said, and wondering why those words still have so much power over me.
And the hardest part? I feel incredibly alone in all of this.
My husband has gone to work, and I find myself sitting with all these emotions, feeling like I have no one truly in my corner. I'm postpartum, I'm struggling, and I'm tired of having to be strong when all I really want is to feel understood and emotionally supported.
It's frightening how something from years ago can still hurt this much. I'm exhausted by my own thoughts, and I don't know how to make them stop.
I'm not looking for advice to forgive, forget, or simply move on. I just want to know if other mothers have experienced this — old wounds resurfacing postpartum, overthinking to the point of feeling physically overwhelmed, and feeling alone even when you're not technically alone in life.
Has anyone else been through something similar? Did postpartum make unresolved hurt feel much more intense? And what genuinely helped you get through it?
Please be kind. I'm reaching out because I need to know I'm not alone. ❤️

Does anyone have any recommendations, not the hard walking style backpacks. Like a soft carrier for the back.

Hey mamas. I am 4 weeks postpartum and got my period. Or what I suspect is my period. Heavy bleeding, and stomach cramps. But I’m a google feen and looked it up. It says that it’s not typical to get your period 4 weeks postpartum if I’m combination feeding. I pump, and let her latch. Also supplementing with formula because I can’t keep up with her feedings sometimes.
I had a C-section on September 19th. I’m still healing in one specific spot that occasionally feels like tugging or pulling.
Has anyone else experienced this?
