Low lying anterior placenta

I had a low lying placenta at my 20 week scan and I’ve just had another scan at 29 weeks and it still hasn’t moved up. Has anyone had it move later on in pregnancy?

Had my rescan at 32 weeks and it had moved by then, apparently it moves for 9/10, there's still chance but chat to your midwife / consultant

I had a low lying placenta and it didn’t move! My midwife said I was just one of the unlucky ones where it didn’t move! I had to have a planned c section at 37 weeks due to it being a high risk going after that because of risk of going into labour! The c section weren’t as bad as I thought it was going to be xx

Mine moved at 36 weeks,still time x

Low lying placenta and never moved enough. Had a c section at 38+4 weeks. The surgery was honestly very smooth and so was recovery. Like Emma said, one of the few unlucky ones.

C-Section Mamas

I had an emergency C-section at the start of September, and I haven’t had my 6 week discharge/follow up appointment come through from the NHS yet. Are we meant to organise this or is an appointment sent out? Can’t wait to find out when I can start some light exercise and scar massage etc! I’ve had other appointments since but nothing that focuses on this. Thank you 🙏🏼

Please one star this hospital “ Methodist Richardson Medical Center”

I gave birth to my daughter on October 17, and my epidural failed, making my delivery extremely painful and traumatic. I was discharged on October 20 after being told everything was okay. The very next day, October 21, I returned with headaches, fatigue, and vision changes and was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia. I can’t help but question whether I was discharged too soon.

While receiving care in Labor and Delivery, nurse Katie and charge nurse Aaryn T. made my partner and me feel disrespected and dismissed. They also kept me from my 4-day-old newborn, who had been discharged from the same hospital with me on October 21. After such a traumatic birth and a frightening medical complication, I deserved compassion, not more stress.

Postpartum mothers deserve respect, support, and safe care. I hope hospital management takes my experience seriously.

If you’ve personally had an experience here, please consider leaving an honest review to help others make informed decisions. Thank you to everyone supporting my family. ❤️

12 weeks scan

Just to give you hands up.

It’s so sad that children are not allowed in the screening room. My little one was so excited to see his sibling and ended up waiting outside with my husband. We kind of lost the special moment. We are planning to go private soon.

Thankfully baby is doing really great❤️

Anyone else feeling sick everyday?

I feel like everyday I have a new symptom, and it joins the rest, is not as if they rotate.
This week is a constant headache, I haven’t had a good night sleep since the first week and I feel like I’m going insane
