Hello, just wondering when everyone started to be able to do things after having a c-section. Im on day 10 and feel like I still can do much. Not able to go out and about, not bend down and do normal things. Only able to just walk about in the house.

Everyone’s recovery is so different, but what I will say is please don’t push yourself too much too soon! I felt fine and was moving a lot, and now at 6wks I’ve got an infection and feels like I’m back to being limited again!

At 3 weeks I remember vividly I wanted to walk my son out with the pram and I was still having issues walking, couldn’t stand up straight. I don’t remember exactly when I started to feel normal but it took me a good few weeks

Quite honestly I didn't worry or try to do much for the first 6 weeks. I'd do small walks to start building strength but nothing around the house or anything.
If it was surgery not to have a baby you'd be in bed rest for 2 months!

a little over a week for me 😭 i think everyone’s different though

At 10 days I was still in the hospital and barely managing to walk to the toilet 1m away 😅 it was taking me 20 min to walk to the toilet and back… I know it sucks but give it time it’ll get better

Took me about 3 weeks

This is my 2nd c-section. Just feel so fed up and wanting to do more. My partner goes back to work tomorrow and worried how I’ll be on my own.
Its only been 4 weeks since my c-section and i am extremely horny 😩, I’ve always had a high drive but dang i want my hubby but i know I shouldn’t and it’s sooo hard. Mind you i had an infection after my surgery 😭😭-advice

My daughter has been invited to a 5th birthday party which is in a hall setting . The parent said “ one parent is welcome to stay “ does this mean I have to stay ? Or it’s optional ? I don’t want to hang around if I don’t need to tbh lol has any else had the parent say this and did you stay or leave ?

It’s my second pregnant and I am SUFFERING so badly with PGP. I did pelvic physio in my first pregnancy but didn’t find it helped. I’ve got a belly band, keep my knees together whenever I can, sleep with a pillow in between my knees, so I really am trying to help myself! Walking has become so so difficult and with a 20 month old I have the worst mum guilt that I’m not able to take her out and do things like I could before. Has anyone got any tips on what I can do?
