Im 30 weeks pregnant, long term partner, life was perfect and then overnight he just told me wasnt sure about the relationship anymore
He doesnt want intamacy, loss of attraction has been mentioned
Lots of rows, but its my first and only relationship and I cant seem to see the otherside
Hes providing financially, for the baby and me to and extent, action kinda show he wants to be with my but words dont.
I feel like a host body for his child, he wants and adores the baby and idea of being a father but I am not feeling chosen or wanted
I love him, loved our life, our house we built but im struggling to leave
Cant decide wether to leave now or wait till babies here?
I feel bad for him weirdly that hes going to miss so much of babies life if I leave before she comes, no newborn bubble no taking her home from hospital etc
I am so torn, hormonal and not trusting my own opinions anymore. Its been 10 weeks of hell, teying to work through it and then discovered this weekend no progress has been made in terms of him feeling better and wanting romatic relationship
He wants me to be there for him, he has no family and would be very lonely which I why I cannot see why he wants to throw it all away
I just cant get over being told dont want intamacy with me, im sure he has a hormone imbalance but im worried im pinning to much on that now!
All he says for the future is he wants things to get 'better' he doesnt want to make false promises and cant see passed the current state of arguments and tension etc
We've always our whole relationship discussed and planned the future and now abruptly he cant do it ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
So how do you know when to go and say goodbye to your home etc
I would have to move in with my pensioner parents

Have you guys considered couples therapy?
The relationship doesn't seem bad and perhaps this is something you guys can work through in therapy why he lost love/attraction could it be he is struggling with something else?

Think about the relationship that your daughter will see as she grows up. Is it a happy one, or will she see a negative relationship?
Our parents relationships are often the first ones we are exposed to, and our own relationships often mirror the good and bad habits.

Hi so sorry you're going through a rollercoaster emotionally now but 2 things: you are pregnant, very vulnerable and emotional right now so you almost definitely take things a little bit more to heart than you might have done if not in a position like this. Second: nobody ever talks about men also suffering pre birth and postpartum depression!!! They are not carrying the baby but they go through hormonal changes too and they take on a new huge mental load of the seriousness of having to provide for the family now and forever, along with caring for the emotional needs and help their pregnant partner and then mother of their child. I honestly know where you're coming from in considering a break up but please consider that he might feel very off as well, maybe even depressed and maybe he doesn't even realise

The first year of a couples baby, especially the first baby often hits like a truck and always cracks a relationship to one extend or another, have a look at statistics. It's important to preserve the relationship at all costs if both partners are committed and have love for each other. You'll come out on the other side super thankful to yourself that you stayed. That's coming from a mommy of 3 under 3🥹 by the way, once baby is there it can become even harder in some ways, pregnancy is like a pretaste of what's coming in the next year with baby but try to stay strong. There is beauty and growth in it all. If you need, I am here to chat xx

I'm sorry you're going thru this. I would move in with my parents before the baby is born, because how would he like someone treating his daughter the way he has treated you. Mental health issues is no excuse to treat someone you love like sht.

If he doesn't want intimacy with you he is normally getting it from somewhere else. Whether that be in person or online. I'm so sorry you are going through this pregnant. Honestly having a newborn with your parents around is really helpful. The relationship will only work if you both want it too and you can't try and stay just because he doesn't have family.

Do you think he doesnt want intimacy because he is getting it somewhere else? I only say that because you have said he crossed boundaries with women. Did he explain why he isn't sure about the relationship? How long is long term? X

Ok so after reading that it’s not just him being a bit unsure and a little loss of attraction and he’s just a dick, I’d honestly say you’re better off without. If he’s leading you on and dithering about with not wanting you but wanting you to be there so he’s not lonely, then he’s just keeping you around for his own selfish reasons. I’m really sorry you’re going through this, but don’t tear yourself part for a man that can’t respect you and treat you well.

I’m 11 weeks PP and last night our condom broke 🤦
I’m litterly terrified of being pregnant again at only 11 weeks PP, my last period was the 6th October but then I had to take the morning after pill on the 19th (we where just stupid) and then I started bleeding again on the 25th October, what are the odds I’m ovulating rn?

I’m 8w postpartum and have my 8w pp health check this week, I’m assuming they’ll want to discuss contraception.
I’m EBF, my period hasn’t returned yet and I know I might like to have another child within the next 24 months.
It took us 3.5years to conceive our first due to some issues with ovulation so don’t want to leave it too long before trying for the second just in case it takes as long as I’m over 35yo.
I’m not sure what to do with contraception I’m considering to go back on the pill as it’s easier to stop but I’m wondering if starting the pill while EBF will kickstart monthly periods?
I’d also like to hear what everyone would do in this situation and what you are planning on doing?

Want to leave my Bd. He’s put me through the upmost hell during my pregnancy. No woman should have to go through what I’ve been going through during their pregnancy. The problem is I’m still dependent on him. Not currently working but working on getting a job and I still have to be around him. I’m trying to stay not emotionally invested but I have to fake the funk until I can eventually leave so he doesn’t think something is up. My baby is due early January but hoping maybe he comes late December. I feel like once he gets here that’s when I can make my move. I think I want a fresh start and to just move to a different state all together.
