Baby not clingy

Hey! Is anyone else’s baby not clingy at all?😂 my son is 9 months old and I’ve been waiting for the dreaded separation anxiety to kick in but that’s not happening lol. He will let anyone put him to bed and anyone hold him, never reaches for me or looks for me in a room and it is sort of upsetting me😂 I know some of my friends babies will not let them even leave the room or want to be held by them and only them but that’s not the case with my son. I feel he would be fine going off with a stranger at this point😂

Is my son just super independent or will it come??

At that age mine was similar and was only clingy when she was in a lot of pain with teething, but at over a year old the separation anxiety has started. I tried to do a parenting course which involved leaving her in a crèche for a couple hours once a week and she would be inconsolable as soon as she realised I was gone, to the point where the crèche workers would have to pull me out of class because she wouldn't stop crying. It took me by surprise as she had always been super chill and had even stayed entire weekends at her nan's without getting upset.

My little girl is 7.5 months. She is not clingy at all! She will go to anyone, go to sleep anywhere, let anyone hold her, very independant. The only rime she likes having a cuddle is before bed and even then thats a struggle. I was wondering also why she isnt cuddly with me x

My little girl was the same, she is now 18 months this week and starting to get marginally more affectionate (still won't look back for me at nursery, would go down for anyone at bed, not clingy at all and will go to anyone day/night) so I'm definitely making the most of the short and very sweet cuddles/kisses these days. I guess they're all very different. I did do a bit of research as I was overthinking it a little at times and it was reassuring to hear they feel safe/secure and know you're always coming back for them 🥰 (not sure how true this is but I'm holding onto it!)

How many meals a day?

How many meals should a 7 month old have in a day? I'm still breastfeeding and today I pumped because I have a KIT day and noticed that I haven't pumped much at all. Baby has been gaining weight though and going up in percentiles.

Pre school / nursery

Hello can someone help me please UK based as I’m unsure if it’s different elsewhere.

My child is 2, universal credit have told me when he’s 3 I need to be in 30 hours a week employment but I don’t want him to go into nursery due to not trusting the establishment I’ve seen a lot of bad things so wanted to wait until he’s in pre school but his birthday is February so he won’t start pre school until after 3?
Sorry if this doesn’t make sense and is confusing but my main point is would he have to be in a nursery then before he starts actual school? Which means I’d have to apply now for him to start nursery when he’s 3 and do I get government funded hours?

MIL comment to her son

My MIL always tells my husband to take it easy because he’s only one person. We have 3 little ones. Would you take her comment the wrong way? I feel it sounds like she thinks he does everything and I don’t do enough? Or is it just figure of speech?

Lunch ideas.

Hi all, my 18 month old does not like normal lunch things and I am stuck with ideas. He doesn’t like sandwiches, wraps, omelettes, pin wheels, quiche. He is allergic to dairy, tomatoes and peppers. Does anyone have any lunch ideas? At the moment when he isn’t at nursery his lunch involves 2 packets of sweetcorn crisps and fruit

Struggling with partner earning less

I’ve always accepted that my partner would be earning less than me even when we were dating. He loves me and is a faithful man. Now that I’ve become a mom, I can’t help but sometimes feel bad that he earns less especially coz of my maternity pay. We live paycheck to pay check and renting in London. I’ve brought up to him a few times how we could increase our income, make more money etc. He is so chill just doing his things- work, football, of course he’s really involved with baby which I’m grateful for
But here I am obsessing with future stability. I can’t say he’s not worried at all but I feel like I’m carrying all the mental load
