My MIL always tells my husband to take it easy because he’s only one person. We have 3 little ones. Would you take her comment the wrong way? I feel it sounds like she thinks he does everything and I don’t do enough? Or is it just figure of speech?

I would take offense to it if she said it with me there. The implication is you are not there for your husband.
Reading your post, it looks like you feel the same way as me. I would suggest if something makes you uncomfortable. You can say “please stop, this makes me uncomfortable.” If they challenge you or ask you why “please stop because this makes me uncomfortable.”
You don’t owe anyone a reason for why something makes you uncomfortable, or look for justifications to how you feel. Another thing “is it just figure of speech?” You also don’t need someone else’s intentions to acknowledge the impact it had on you.

I think that depends on how much weight your partner is actually pulling. If he's one of those men that leaves a lot to the women, then I'd definitely have something to say.
I’d say me and my partner are equal in terms of responsibility. I carry all the mental load though. He’s good at dropping and collecting the kids. However I’ve had 3 kids in the last 3 years and exclusively breastfed each of them plus still breastfeeding my 8 month old so it’s not like I’m doing nothing

So I don't know your mil. But I know i get told a million times to take it easy. But if I heard my mil tell my husband that. Idk how I'd take it i guess depends on her tone. I know once she made a comment something like this when she cane to visit us right after I just got home from a visit with all 5 kids & my disabled mother. My husband stood home alone chilling. And she pissed me off.

I don't take it like that at all. He is just one person, just like you're one person. The meaning of that phrase is typically like, don't overexert yourself trying to take on the workload of multiple people, etc. I would certainly take offense if she said something like "you're doing so much by yourself."
That being said, I don't know your relationship with your MIL so maybe there's some animosity or contention there. But just based off this post alone I don't think her comment is meant to offend you.
How many meals should a 7 month old have in a day? I'm still breastfeeding and today I pumped because I have a KIT day and noticed that I haven't pumped much at all. Baby has been gaining weight though and going up in percentiles.

Hey! Is anyone else’s baby not clingy at all?😂 my son is 9 months old and I’ve been waiting for the dreaded separation anxiety to kick in but that’s not happening lol. He will let anyone put him to bed and anyone hold him, never reaches for me or looks for me in a room and it is sort of upsetting me😂 I know some of my friends babies will not let them even leave the room or want to be held by them and only them but that’s not the case with my son. I feel he would be fine going off with a stranger at this point😂
Is my son just super independent or will it come??

Hello can someone help me please UK based as I’m unsure if it’s different elsewhere.
My child is 2, universal credit have told me when he’s 3 I need to be in 30 hours a week employment but I don’t want him to go into nursery due to not trusting the establishment I’ve seen a lot of bad things so wanted to wait until he’s in pre school but his birthday is February so he won’t start pre school until after 3?
Sorry if this doesn’t make sense and is confusing but my main point is would he have to be in a nursery then before he starts actual school? Which means I’d have to apply now for him to start nursery when he’s 3 and do I get government funded hours?

Hi all, my 18 month old does not like normal lunch things and I am stuck with ideas. He doesn’t like sandwiches, wraps, omelettes, pin wheels, quiche. He is allergic to dairy, tomatoes and peppers. Does anyone have any lunch ideas? At the moment when he isn’t at nursery his lunch involves 2 packets of sweetcorn crisps and fruit

I’ve always accepted that my partner would be earning less than me even when we were dating. He loves me and is a faithful man. Now that I’ve become a mom, I can’t help but sometimes feel bad that he earns less especially coz of my maternity pay. We live paycheck to pay check and renting in London. I’ve brought up to him a few times how we could increase our income, make more money etc. He is so chill just doing his things- work, football, of course he’s really involved with baby which I’m grateful for
But here I am obsessing with future stability. I can’t say he’s not worried at all but I feel like I’m carrying all the mental load
