Hey girls, I have a question about pregnancy discharge… I went into hospital to have swabs done as my discharge has been very heavy and sometimes a bit yellow and clumpy… all of my swab results came back negative…🤷🏼‍♀️

Sometimes it’s an off white colour and other times it’s very yellow and looks thick…but not sure if it’s just drying yellow on the pad…
Maternity triage have said it could be normal for me in pregnancy but it also stings a little during intercourse which she also said could be pregnancy related… my GP won’t help me either as my tests are normal… I’m just a bit worried.. has anyone else had horrible symptoms like this??
I’m coming up to 26 weeks. My discharge used to be quite runny/white and milky looking but sometimes it’s so thick!🤢

Ive had this, apparently using pregnacare supplements can cause the colour change

I had heavy discharge throughout my first pregnancy and this one - one of the many joys of pregnancy 😅

I have this.
I never had anything like this with my first pregnancy.
This pregnancy is completely different.
I have a lot of sometimes creamy, sometimes watery discharge! All my undies are always covered by the end of the day.
I think it’s just something that happens to different people in their pregnancy.
Mine never smells, in fact it smells clean and like mash potatoes (sorry).

I think it’s very normal, mine can be a bit like that. It sounds grim but think of it as similar to the mucus in your nose - it’s not always 100% the same. If you’ve been tested and are clear, then it’s hormonal and what’s normal for you :)

Mine is also like this all the time now. A lot of discharge and quiet yellow (almost like a glow stick yellow) 🤣

I’m literally the same. In think it’s normal to have a lot of discharge during pregnancy. Most of my friends families have also said they’ve had this when they were pregnant 🤰🙈

I’m 29weeks now, I had the exact same but wasn’t a worry untill my last midwife appointment 2-3 weeks ago mentioned there maybe protein in my wee but didn’t do anything about it heard nothing about this but recently down there became sore so I had a doctors appointment now i have thrush.. so just be aware

I am exactly the same! Talked to my midwife and she wasn’t concerned. So just guess it’s just my new normal for now. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maternity allowance

Hi guys! So I am currently on maternity leave with my boy and pregnant again, my maternity leave is almost over (I took the full 52 weeks off) so I am due back work soon! I have just had an email saying I’m not eligible for statuary maternity pay again and they are sending me a form to apply for maternity allowance! I would only be back at work for approx 6-8 weeks before going on maternity again! So I thought I would use my holidays instead of actually going back but the manager has actually refused them. What I’m wondering is, if I was to hand in my notice, would I still technically be eligible for maternity allowance and get the full amount or would it be the £27 a week? Because if I did do that, then they would obviously still have to pay me my holidays that I’m entitled to?

Change of religion when married.. advice please!

Hi all, my husband has very recently and out of the blue turned to Christianity (we were atheist). I’ve been super supportive, we’re speaking a lot about it, I’m reading the bible to understand. To be clear I don’t have an issue with it at all (I went to a Christian school, just wouldn’t say I’ve found Jesus myself 🤷🏼‍♀️).
I just wondered if anyone has been in a similar situation? What if I can’t come to the same conclusion and we end up not being of the same religion?

Really hoping someone’s gone through similar and may give me an idea of how it turned out please 🙏

Extending maternity leave beyond a year

I’m due to go back to work in June and my baby to nursery after a year off (I work in the nursery she’ll be attending).I can’t claim funding for her until September so considering now staying off with her until then.

Does anyone know how this works? Am I entitled to just tell them I’m doing this or is it something that can be refused now my maternity leave and 52 weeks leave entitlement is up?

Meal Service

Hey mamas! Struggling over here to find the time to do it all, even with partner support. Has anyone done a meal delivery service? I've only heard of Hello Fresh but I know there are others. Thoughts? Experiences? Worth the price? Looking for any way to make our lives easier!
