Following to for ideas my twins are 1 next month 🥰

So we are going to get her a trike as she hates her pram 😂 I’ve ordered her some cheap toys of shein as she’s enjoying puzzle type things and playing with balls but that’s it. I’ve told family and friends not to bother as she doesn’t need much but if they really want to get something then clothes would be nice as she has alot of second hand. Depending on budgets a yearly subscription to a farm park or something could be good xx

We’re taking our son to Paris for his birthday! :) he has so many things I couldn’t deal with more mess in the house 😂 but maybe you could get them all to contribute to a trip you guys could go on somewhere even if it’s just in the UK?

Tbh it’s more a holiday as well done to us for surviving a year 😂

I know my mums main present to him is going to be a rocking horse as she bought it last year as she got a bit over excited when she saw the same one I had as a kid, then she's getting him some clothes and some books. From other family and friends we've asked for books or clothes in the next size up as he will probably be ready to move into the next size after Christmas if not before. Me and dad are planning to get him an activity table and a big busy board and a few other little toys. We are getting him a montessori bridge/rocker for Christmas and a years subscription to our nearest zoo as his birthday is December 1st so only a few weeks between them.

My LBs birthday was yesterday.
I got my a little ball pit and he also got clothes from my grandma, I picked them 😂 MIL got him some little push down racing cars that he’ll probably need to be a little older to actually use them properly (he was early so he’s ’behind’) but he enjoyed them. We just asked for money to be fair so so could decide what to get and then say it’s from so and so later on.

Kitchen, fake food, dolls, hoover, clothes. That's what family members are getting her. We are throwing her a party as her present x

@Tammi what a beauty...she's adorable. My LOs birthday is next month and we're throwing a party for both sides, i had family ask but so unsure of what she needs. She don't play with toys so asked for no toys but feel confused as to what we can get. Someone's mention3d a ball pit, following for ideas so I can pass on to family also. She was gifted enough clothes to last a year and I only brought her first outfit last week whilst shopping for food..but I guess opening presents will be a special one for her not that she'll know what is going on...

I didn’t think she needed much but I’ve started a list that’s getting longer and longer, it’s a good job it’s nearly Xmas too!

She won’t be getting all of this but between me and the family she will end up with most things for her bday or Xmas. I’ve already bought her a few cheap little bits as I’ve seen them like a toy smart phone and tv remote as I’d like to be able to take control of the real ones again 😂 x

@Rebecca the zoo is a brilliant idea, I'll see what we have locally to do something similar. She's the first grandchild from both sides of the family so she's absolutely spoilt already and seems to have a lot of the suggested items 😅

My baby is quite active and loves to move around so im thinking to get pikler triangle activity set of 3 along with a soft play style sofa. From the comments it seems the trike is very popular so might look into that too

You could also look into a tool station/kitchen/ doll house, something that will encourage independent play and imagination

Books are always good so in gonna get couple of those too

Ive also ordered the baby card reader toy which should be good for speech development too and a lot of babies enjoy that

we are getting mega blocks and a pickler triangle!

We have a mix of things for birthday and Christmas but he is getting a balance bike, play kitchen and coffee machine. I’ve got a play table and little bit and bobs. I’m going to take him to the aquarium and a illuminate light show and a petting zoo as well

I won’t lie it’s more a well done Mummy for lasting 12 months day 🤣 but I’ve got him some building blocks, a rocking horse because he is obsessed with the one at playgroup, some books, a walker thingy and we’re gonna have a nice day just mummy, daddy and little boy.

I have made a list of any ideas I have had /seen. As birthday is so close to Christmas this is to cover ages 1-2. Also some of them she won’t be able to use straight away so will save some of them for next year. She definitely doesn’t need all of these items by any means but wanted a variety of ideas to share with family (we might look for some of it second hand).
