My son likes sleeping on this flat pillow we have....

And he screams every time I try to take it away. Does anyone's baby want pillows too? I get nervous. I mean I know he can get up and move but... I don't know. Mommy I need thoughts on this

My boys slept with a pillow since forever. All my kids actually. I say, if you know your child just trust your gut

my son loves sleeping with his pillow. he’s had it since about 6 months old, it’s super flat and doesn’t even feel like a pillow

My son sleeps with his boppy in his crib he will not sleep any other way

Mine has also been sleeping with a pillow for forever and so did my oldest

My older son still has his boppy and sleeps with it. And my younger one took one of my pillows amd he sleeps with it.

my daughter doesn’t use a pillow, but she also sleeps on her stomach with her butt up in the air lol. and she sleeps with a little stuffed rabbit that she loves and absolutely will not stand for it being taken away

my daughter also doesn’t use blankets, but she sleeps in a zipadee zip sleep sack that’s basically like her blanket. she’s loves that thing

My son uses a pillow but I recommend to keep safe sleep to give you a piece of mind switch to a toddler bed because per guidelines no pillows or blankets in a combined crib but once in toddler bed are perfectly fine

My boy had a pillow at 1 year 🤷🏼‍♀️ blanket and stuffed animals

I think it’s okay. I’m more nervous about blankets still. We just introduced blanket in his crib and sometimes he’ll put the blanket over his face and it seems like he gets stuck in it and freaks a tiny bit. I just leave the blanket in a corner now and occasionally I’ll find him snuggling with it but he’s never really loved blankets on him. We also stopped using sleep sacks when he could stand up in his crib. I feel like it gets stuck under him and I don’t want him to trip and hit his head on the crib. I know that’s was way more information than you asked lol.

My son sleep with a baby wedge pillow but I don't worry since he is good about moving himself if he can't breathe although I do make sure he has a blanket that's not too heavy or too thick. YOUR SON IS ADORABLE

My LO every feed. Drs don’t seem to think it’s a problem the whole Muslim cloth gets soaked so much I’m using towels now. I’ve tried size O teats he gets really frustrated and still spills it out :(

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡
