Awful sleep

I literally feel exhausted. I thought once my little man was walking he’d get tired and sleep through. He is not. He’s not settling putting him back in his cot he arches his back and screams. So desperate he’s in bed with us doing 180s backflips and all sorts just moaning all night. I’m so tired and feeling sorry for myself I can’t deal with it anymore he’s a big lad I can’t carry him for very long. He could be going through a regression or something but he’s always been like this. He’s so happy through the day and the minute he wakes up. And I’m not lol. Anyone got their baby to start sleeping at 1 year? I feel like it’s too late. I’m now waiting till he’s like 3 to get some sleep at this point lol 👍🏼

How are his day time naps? Being over tired or under tired can affect night time sleep. My little one is still waking a lot too!

We've literally just had this night!!

And I've just started work 3 weeks ago, it's been constant. Not sure if we're coming or going.

Start from 11. Change the nappy, make sure she's at a good temp, cuddles.
Try to bring her in with us, she thinks she is at a soft play.
It's constant. We actually gave her a bottle last night at 1. After 2hrs and she took the whole bottle and slept.
But how are we going back to that. As she then woke at 4:30 for another 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Just wanted to say you’re not alone. My 11.5mo shows no sign of sleeping through the night or her own cot. I keep telling myself it’s only a season and I’ll miss the snuggles one day. For now I just wish I could get some sleep 😴

I started work aswell about 3 weeks ago too! It’s like now I need the sleep it’s getting worse. It will get better 🤞

his naps are usually good but I do think he was over tired last night… he’s just never twice the same. I’m gonna focus on his naps today and get them right! Xx

My son done this too I think it’s separation anxiety. When he woke up middle night and we take him to our bed he slept right away and got comfy then we take him back to his own bed n he woke up again few hours later same thing again

After I went on Google I realized you’re not meant to take them out their room if they wake up. So we done that and tried giving him more food and milk during day and he slept normal again in few days

It could be separation anxiety or they’re not having enough food/milk during day or going through growth spurt that they need extra milk at night.
Or also sleeping too long during day check how long baby’s naps are meant to be during day online or the huckleberry apps helps

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡
