All of the sudden, my 6 month old will only contact nap again. She was like this as a newborn, but around 4 months she started napping in her bassinet. But now , the second I put her down she’s crying. But at night, I put her in there for bed, and she’s fine, sleeps all night. What is the deal with the naps?!

I am in a similar situation as well. My LO needed lots of bouncing , swaying as a newborn to sleep /nap . At 4 months he became easy to put down for sleep /nap . But now he will turn on his belly and do everything else he can when I try to put him down for sleepy time 😪

It’s called a sleep regression. The 4 month and 6 month are the big ones. These often align with baby’s developmental leaps. Check out this book or there is also an app to learn more!

My son was like that just this last week. However it's already passed and he's napping 1-2 hours each nap on his own again ❤️ it'll pass, expect extra naps coming up as they're gonna be exhausted once they feel a bit better.

we use wonder weeks already! It just surprises me because at 4 months, it affected all her sleep. Right now, it’s only her napping that’s affected. She goes down super easily still at night and sleeps through the night.

🤞🏻 I hope so! I feel bad because my mom watches her during the week and she’s not getting a break at all without those naps.

Naps are the worst. Our pediatrician said night sleep and naps are just different. We're doing mostly contact naps again now too. 😴
