For context my son is fed very well he has a decent size breakfast lunch and dinner with snacks in between meals but it’s never enough. He is CONSTANTLY asking for food and it turns into a tantrum if I ever say wait until snack lunch etc it’s driving my up the wall!!!! I know kids eat a lot but this is excessive

I'm following because my 2 year old does exactly the same. She's not a picky eater, been eating whatever is offered to her since the get go but it's like she can eat nonstop. She'll eat egg fried rice with veggies and some meat, followed by a pudding, and 20 mins later ask for food again 🤐 I've noticed though that she's like this when we are home all day/she's bored. If we are busy or outside, she's fine.

You could maybe try to give bigger portions of breakfast or lunch. How old is your son? My 2 year old does this, she’s very well fed but she could eat all day long and is always asking or whining for food. I’m happy that she’s eating a lot. I’m sure one day she might not want to eat so much, some kids start to refuse to eat or they become picky. So I give her food or snacks anytime she asks for it, she might be going through a growth spurt.
He is 3 and a half. I did think it could be bordom as it does happen when we are home all day but everything I’ve read says that kids tend to listen to their bodies and only eat when they’re hungry 🤷🏽♀️

How long has it been going on for? It could be a growth spurt

I feed my child whenever she’s hungry

My 1 year old has recently only wanted bread all the time

Get a mini fridge or a kids toy kitchen and stock it with appropriately cut fruit and veg so he can help himself, snacking on fruit and veg all day is absolutely fine x (this depends on his age)
