Hello mamas! This is my sweet file Talullah she will be 3 months January 10th this past week she’s been munching on toys, her hands and really interested in watching us eat lol. I’ve been breastfeeding since day one and would like to continue but I’m wondering when do you all start giving your babies baby food, teething wafers, or solid foods
Our doctor says 4-6 months but I think she’s ready for a few snacks here and there now 💀

My two month old is doing the same, but I will not be feeding her solids until 6 months. Babies intestines are not ready for food at such a young age

discuss with your pediatrician. babies shouldn’t start solids until they have enough core and back strength to sit upright and hold their heads up high for long periods. that usually isn’t the case until 4+ months

Definitely not until 4 months at least- AAP recommends waiting until 6 months. Food before 1 is just for fun- so there’s no need nutritionally for her to have foods other than formula or breast milk.
