Will it effect me in the long run if I don’t talk to the mums at my child’s school? I’m really over them and their cliques and their bipolar-ness lol majority of the ones that try to make plans during the school holidays my kid doesn’t play with their kids or like them so I don’t feel like it’s necessary for me to be involved in their catch ups or have chit chat with them! Ill say hi and bye when I see them at pick up and drop off but that’s it, I’m just really sick of them, something happen today that just triggered me and I’m just over!

My mum was never sociable with the other mums at my school and I probably did miss out socially because of it. Is your child not friends with anyone at school? If not, that’s probably the bigger issue to tackle.
I said in my post that he’s not friends with the mums kids that plan the catch ups during the school holidays. He’s friends parents don’t go cause of work etc so that’s why I feel like I don’t need to go.

Yeah, if he wouldn’t hang out with their children anyway then don’t pit yourself out

I don't particularly socialise with school parents, but I'm always polite and say hello on pick up, and will have a service level chat.
There are a few parents around that have their groups and I tend to stay away from it as I've seen a little bit of nasty behaviour, as someone being it from the outside, plus I have my own amazing friends and social circles, so I don't feel like I need to be a part of that.
My daughter still gets invited to birthday parties and play dates, so I don't think it's impacted her at all.
