I know it’s silly but I feel irritated and annoyed at everyone all the time. Feels like even the smallest of things trigger me and I find it very hard to let things go. I have a very supportive partner who helps me with every feed and putting her to sleep but somehow my mind makes up a reason to be annoyed at him. I don’t want to lose my husband due to my mood swings. I am not sure if it’s mood swings or I have just become a horrible person due to lack of sleep or personal time. There is that constant pressure always on the feeding as I am currently formula feeding her and I am not sure if I am over feeding. I feel like a shitty mom as I am unable to console her feed her.

I’m the exact same I’m literally filled with rage at everyone around me. My mum had my daughter over jight and I slept 10 hours and the day after i wasn’t like this at all so I do think it’s lack of sleep but eberyokes different x

The sleep deprivation is so awful. You’re not a shitty Mum, you just need rest. Your body has just been through a HUGE transition. Don’t be hard on yourself. Xxx

Postpartum rage is a thing! Your hormones change around week 5 and it’s really common to hate your partner and get easily irritated by them. Me/my mum friends had it with our firsts it passes. Be kind to yourself recognise when your getting wound up and try and have some coping strategies in place xxx

at first I felt awful for my mum taking her, but when I had that sleep oh my gosh she’s baby sitting every week now 😂 having that 1 night is something to look forward to and I don’t want to feel guilty for giving her over for a night a week where she’s safe and I can be a better mum for her the next days ahead!
Sleep deprivation is literal torture!! Mums are amazing and it really does mess every hormone up
