Has anybody got a bupa health insurance for their baby? Do you have a good experience with claiming? I am thinking of getting the diagnosis and treatment cover. I have health insurance through my work but I also want to get a personal health insurance for my baby in case I lose my job

We have family Bupa health insurance and so far I haven't had to use it but I'm glad I have it, my mum has it and has nothing but good things to say about them. Appointments on time, the actually listen to your concerns and take them seriously. My mum had a massive health scare a couple of years ago and they were amazing

We do, but we had a hard time claiming. You have to get them registered as soon as born on your family plan.
We had to go into hospital when he was 3 days old for phototherapy due to severe jaundice (he had to stay 2 nights) and they wouldn’t let us claim as he was “born with it” and we registered him with BUPA on day 3. Like how are you meant to know they have zero issues and register them within minutes of birth in case something develops 🤦🏼♀️
It’s decent though, he needed tongue tie surgery and the nhs wait time was 7 weeks so we did it private and claimed what we could back.
