Appendicitis symptoms

Has anyone ever had appendicitis and did symptoms slowly get worse or just hit instantly? Lower right side suddenly hurt to the point I was hunched over when using the bathroom and almost screaming. Slowly got better and down to a 2 or 3 of 1-10 scale. Area still hurts but not like it was. Started at about a 7

I think if the pain has eased I wouldn't think it's your appendix. It would get worse. It would also be painful to apply pressure in the area.
Apparently if you get someone to hit the bottom of your foot and you feel pain in the stomach area it could be. I saw it online somewhere....
I would say it gets worse or you start vomiting to head to a&e. X

I had acute appendicitis twice. My pain was at a 10. Went to the ER and they gave me morphine. They gave me antibiotics and some pain killers until I could get in for surgery. Taking the antibiotics and painkillers brought the pain to like a 3 or 4.
The first time the surgeon insisted I didnt have appendicitis and I was just horrible constipated but I dont think that was the case.
When I got it again my main doctor just said yeah ill schedule your surgery here for monday (my pain started on Saturday night) he said if it gets 10 times worse suddenly just call the ER and we will tell you which ER to go to to get it removed (we live in a small town and have no surgeons on staff 24/7 in our ER)

I had appendicitis three years ago. If that’s what it is I would think the pain would have not gotten better.
I’ve had gas pains once in my past that were so painful I would say it was comparable to my appendicitis pain and that subsided on my way to the hospital so what you have could be gas pain if it’s improved.

When I had appendicitis it came on suddenly. I got my haircut that day like normal. Started having stomach pain at home and within 2 or three hours I couldn’t stand up straight and was on the way to urgent care, vomited all over the exam room and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance where surgery was scheduled for a few hours later and I had to be on morphine at the hospital waiting for my surgery.

I had appendicitis in 2018, it just felt like a stomach ache at first. It started Thursday early afternoon and I didn’t get checked out until Saturday. It only hurt if I poked it. So I just waited thinking it was gas or something. Pain was more toward my belly button in the middle than lower right. While I was waiting for surgery it did rupture so that was sharp and quick. But I immediately got morphine so I don’t remember the rest. I had surgery Sunday morning.

Mine ruptured in 2019 and the pain hits instantly then gets worse and it spreads along with other symptoms increasing not only stomach pain

Get your gallbladder checked ASAP. I thought I might have appendicitis after having off and on SEVERE pain. One day I projectile vomited all over my bathroom and nearly passed out. Was rushed to the ER and my gallbladder was completely full of stones, had surgery to have it removed that very same night.

Boy or Girl??

This is a potty shot scan pic from my 20 week scan - we had a private scan at 17 weeks and were told one gender. Fast forward to 20 week scan and we have just been told the opposite gender.
Would love anyone’s opinions on what gender we are having?! X

C-Section mums - what was the most 'painful' day?

I'm having my c-section next week, after having had a natural birth last year. I'm not actually worried about the procedure itself, more about what to expect after. What would you say was the worse day, and when would you say you really started to feel better? Thanks so much!

Reduced movements

Hey! I am 38 weeks and my baby is always very very active but today seems a bit less than normal. I still can feel him moving but less. Would you consider this a reason to call the triage?

Ultrasound at 20 weeks

Am I wrong for being a bit upset? So right when I found it I was pregnant, before I even had a Obgyn visit…I was having pretty bad one-sided abdominal pain. I had went to the ER three times because of it. The first time I was diagnosed with pregnancy of unknown location, so basically a possible ectopic. I had gotten ultrasounds three times the first two times it was still too early to see anything and the third time I went they were able to locate the pregnancy in the uterus. I was around six weeks at the time they could see the pregnancy.Am I wrong for asking my OBGYN for an ultrasound? The Three ultrasounds I did get at the ER were only to confirm location and I didn’t get to see anything at all the monitor was turned away from me each time and couldn’t even ask questions as the ER doctor would explain what the technician seen the whole time. They said pregnancy was in the uterus but said the heartrate of 108 was a little low for that gestational age. and I asked my obgyn if I could get a routine ultrasound and they obviously seen the 3 ultrasounds on my mychart and said that they only usually do one and I won’t be getting one until 20 weeks. So because I went to the ER and got a bunk ass ultrasound I’m now unable to see how things are progressing at almost 9 weeks. I don’t even know if the baby is still growing. When I lived in Michigan before I moved and with my first child I got an ultrasound too many times to count. I guess I’m just disappointed

Contractions

What exactly do contractions feel like? I’m not sure exactly what to be looking out for. I’ve had some sharp sharp pains on my right side almost like period cramps but way amplified and they last for about 5 or so minutes but they aren’t constant. I have a very high pain tolerance so I’m not sure if that’s a contraction or if it’s her moving and hitting a nerve. They haven’t brought me to my knees or anything but they are definitely annoying lol.
