I'm currently sitting in the car on my drive (with the windows open) because my 6 month old fell asleep only 20 minutes ago so I'm letting her finish up the nap.
Got me thinking though - as it gets warmer, are people still leaving their babies to finish their nap if they fall asleep or are you taking them in right away as it's getting warmer (14 degrees where I am today)?

I normally take them to sleep on the bed so they can feel more comfortable and sleep even more

I take my car seat inside and then I take him out and transfer him to his cot xx

I would definitely leave my LO to finish his nap in the car. He gets cranky and fussy if I disturb his sleep.
Every baby is different, if yours is like mine...better leave the windows open and wait couple more minutes Xx

As they get older they’ll get used to being moved when asleep. So I know it’s frustrating moving them now, but my boys 2.5 years old and I could roll him down the garden without him waking up 🤣🤣

I've never finished a nap in the car, always take them out when I arrive, popped straight into the carrier and shush and pat and they go back to sleep

Window open, cars in the shade, finish nap. Happy baby, happy mama

These sorts of temperatures i let him stay in the car. Winter i leave him in the car but the car still on for the heater. Hot days ill either leave the car on with the air con going or bring him in. Depends on how deep the sleep is and what time it is as to whether or not I disturb him but he is generally the sort where if you lift him out of the car seat he will wake up

I keep the engine on and air con going!
We found our baby is a baby girl this weekend.. I have been convinced she was a girl the entire pregnancy so it wasn’t a shock at all but just hearing it officially… of course I love her and I’m not evil, it’s just a lot to adjust and I am feeling really stressed and a bit sad really. I feel guilty that I’m not as excited as I should be and currently don’t want people to know because I’m not ready to be super happy about it yet.
I have always pictured my life with a son one day and, for very personal reasons and life experiences, I feel a lot of stress when thinking about protecting and raising a baby girl in this world which I’m sure people can relate…
I am worried about protecting her, I am worried about not feeling the same bond from her as a son, amongst a multitude of other things. I am not feeling excited to buy frilly dresses or go to dance classes and I know it will all settle and logically I won’t imagine life without her and I do love her, it’s just overwhelming me..
Any advice… 🌸

Adding to all this penis talk lol
Don’t ask me how this came up but my husband was sharing his crazy patient surgery stories and randomly tells me about “the biggest penis he’s ever seen”. Reasonably I burst out laughing because those are words I never expected him to ever say 😅.
Anyways he goes on to tell me how before the surgery he meets with this patient, who goes on to tell him about STI’s and STD’s gotten due to his extensive sexual history.
My husband says when he was on the table it all clicked and he understood why this guy had so many girlfriends 😂🤣 he compared it to a footlong and is very clinical in general so I truly believe him.
All this to say I’m flabbergasted a penis that big even exists and I now need to know if anyone has had large penis run-ins with past partners?!

Is this a normal feeling? I have 2 girls, one 13months and one 26 months so very close in age, I feel like since I've been back at work (I only work 2 days a week anyway) but she's CONSTANTLY attached to me, my leg, climbing on me, headbutting me and I find it SO overwhelming all the time, my toddler just cries all the time, at anything and I find myself feeling very anxious and overstimulated all the time to the point where I just don't think I'm enjoying it most days. Don't get me wrong, there's some lovely parts, but I just feel awful.

Hi mamas!!
I’m currently looking for cars as i go back to work in a few months.
I don’t want a huge car as i hate driving them but want a decent sized one to be able to fit all my baby’s things - ie car seat with isofix and pram.
I only have 1 child but need something reliable.
Could you give me any suggestions? x
