Is anyone else's baby still not eating solids? My baby is 9 months old tomorrow and eats hardly anything. When he does, he gets fed up after a couple of tiny spoonfuls and refuses to eat any more. He seems to hate spoons so we're trying to give finger foods so he can feed himself but most goes on the floor. We are nowhere near 3 meals a day and I feel like we've failed him. My older child ate everything from 6 months old so didn't expect to be struggling this much. I'm absolutely hating weaning and dreading meal times so any help or advice is appreciated!

My boys 13 months and has only just started eating more.. he hated solids, I felt the exact same as you, especially when you see on social media that other babies are having full plates!
All I can advise is just go with the flow, keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing everything right.
I’ve found my son is more of a snacker so I offer less but more often x

How much milk is he having? Around that age I did food first before milk which seemed to help. Ps every child is different and 9 months is so young

I came on here to write this exact post and then saw yours! ❤️ my 9m old is the exact same and every day it worries me as I see babies younger than him eating much more, as well as my eldest being a fantastic eater from 6m also- so just know you’re not alone x
