I’m a sahm to a 5 year old girl & a 6 month old boy, I’d love to meet up with other sahm ! I will be homeschooling my kids so it would be great to meet other moms that are on that same path.

Have they worked for any of you?

A lady said that when she’s very angry or trying to protect her children, she can beat any man
Okay, when you are fighting for your life, do you think you can physically fight your partner?
No weapons
Just using your hands and legs

I have made 2 mum friends since I had my little girl in May.
I live in one village and they both live in the next village over, literally a 5 minute drive away. I met one first and then we met the 3rd mum a few weeks after and we all became friends really quickly. Turns out they live only a few streets away from each other.
Obviously with them living so close to each other they meet up frequently for walks round the village and I'm starting to feel a bit left out.
I still see them every Friday for baby playgroup, so I'm still included, and I don't want to seem clingy but I would like to be invited to the walks sometimes.. I don't mind driving round and meeting them. But I understand its probably just something they do last minute. Idk, it seems like they're going out for walks most evenings and I feel dumb for feeling left out 🥲😪

How are you building friendships as a parent of young children?
I’ve been a SAHM basically the entire time except for when I went back to school for cosmetology. I will be homeschooling this year which is exciting. I plan on signing her up for sports and music lessons to keep us busy and help us branch out.
I wish I had more mom friends that are similar to me. How are you guys finding a balance between maintaining friendships? I have single friends who can be carefree or focused on their career which doesn’t always work with my schedule. I have mom friends who don’t have as many kids as I do so them finding a sitter is easier.
I just don’t know where to start, I feel very in the middle of how most people are today. I try to keep food and snacks clean but will pick up fast food if needed. I lead the music at church but love all types of people even if we think differently. I enjoy being at home listening to music playing with the kids having conversations or going out for some girl time. Any advice or encouragement would be amazing!
