Hi girlsš©·
What snacks are you giving your little ones? Iām looking for healthy convenient ideas⦠Iām always worried raw fruit and veg is a bit of a shocking hazard still so wondering what others are giving? Iād really rather not have to cook for a quick snack
Also if youāre giving snacks what time of day are you offering these? X

I mix together ready brek, peanut butter and milk (I use oat milk) and bake it for like 10 mins ish and leave to cool and cut into strips. I use to buy him the oaty bars which he loved so much prefer making them from home. Offer around 10am ish and sometimes as an after dinner treat āŗļø
Also, puff pastry sheet with peanut butter and jam, roll and cut into pinwheels and bake, theyāre always a hit

I give mine yoghurts, jelly, smoothie bowls, soft crisps. I want to try make some different snacks though

I make banana and blueberry muffins quite often, and sweet potato fingers - she loves those! Broccoli and spinach pinwheels are often a go to as well!(messy tho!), hummus on crackers is a new fav!
I normally give fruit and yoghurt mid morning so like 10:30 and then one of those snacks about 3ish?
Thanks girls, some really nice ideas! Youāve reignited my drive to batch cook / freeze! I was good at this when we started weaning but dropped the ball a bit xxx
Been married for 5 years now with 4y/o son my husband have short fuse and would yell and curse at a wall if heās working with something and it doesnāt go his way. He yells at me or things i do in the house like decorating he calls it ā this is stupid, this is dumb ideaā it really hurts my feelings and I just donāt want to keep tolerating it and he apologizes and do it all over again. I donāt want to get used to it now my son is developing his temper and attitude because my son sees it all the time. With stomping of the feet, punch furniture. Idk what to do. Also first trimester i had to go through psych therapy and they almost put me on medication because my husband gives me mental breakdown.
He never compliments me, heās always on his phone, heās hard working and passionate about work, work in the house, take care of our son but not so great with me.
He doesnāt even compliment me, most men or women out there tell me i look so beautiful as a pregnant woman. On our anniversary i spent my time shopping and bought him shirt that matches me so we look nice on our 5th anniversary, didnāt even say anything nice to me. 37 weeks pregnant and i still try to look good for him. He doesnāt even touch me anymore. I feel so disconnected. Heās constantly on his phone and when I address this matter he gets defensive that heās learning something to fix the house. Or he hides in the bathroom for an hour scrolling on his phone didnāt even poop.
One time i asked if he can massage my leg because 3rd trimester sucks he just told me to take tylenol. Iām so unhappy and donāt know what to do! He always criticized me

Hiya mamas!
Our neighbourās turned 13 and Iām looking to get her a present, itās been like 11 years since I was 13 so i have no clue what teens like nowadaysšš anyone got girls around the same age that can guide me towards something sheād like. I was thinking skincare or something but Iām sure her family already got her that, something adhd friendly would be nice as well which is why i was thinking them like craft kits which i enjoyed around that age but i think theyāre advertised for younger kids so idk.
Thank you in advanceš

My mum looks after my kids two days a week for me. One is in school so it's just for an hour after school the other is pre school age. I use a childminder two days a week and I have one day off a week. My mum initially offered to help me but now all she does is complain. She is also very demanding, expects me to drop things for her at the weekend, buy her coffees and food when we are out and never says thank you and just moans about every aspect of looking after my kids. I've said I'll start using the childminder more but then she says no. I'm really confused as what to do. Has anyone else had a similar experience? We don't get free childcare here because we are in Wales. Thanks

I have a one year old and my husband is a good father and supports around the house when asked but it's the mental load of remembering things and having to do food shopping and thinking what to cook and then cooking and tidying/cleaning but the house is never tidied. We have struggled a bit financially as my pay has gone down and I earn more but I'm back to work next week and hoping October will be my first full pay or majority full pay again. Anyway I just need a system of cleaning/tidying and batch cooking because I'm just often feel overwhelmed. Like I'm laying in bed now hungry as there is nothing but pasta and oats to eat. I batch cook for our son but not very good at doing it for us.
