Hey lovelies,
So for the past 2 days I’ve been having constant pain especially when waking up or getting out of bed to go pee at night all around my hips, if I mention it to my doctor all she says it’s normal since the baby’s Head is now further down ((currently at 37 weeks and 4 days)). And also when I go sit on the toilet to pee I get this period like tightness in my lower abdomen.
Any advices?

I was the same in the last 2 months, literally in the last 2 weeks I could barely get out of bed to go pee 🤠 the only solution? Giving birth… being in a bath does kinda help temporarily

I've been dealing with the same thing for the last several weeks (40 weeks today) and chiropractic care has been amazing. I just went today and my hips popped so loud and the relief was immediate so I'd definitely recommend seeing a chiropractor if you can!
Hello
I’m 36+2 and I’m officially over the midwife care I have received, I’ve been dismissed multiple times on different subjects by multiple midwife’s in my community midwife team , I’ve not seen one consistently it’s been a group of 4 of them , I get told “ we will talk about that at the next appointment “ only to have somone else and it not be discussed & for my last 2 appointments I’ve been sent to maternity assessment .
I also asked not to see one of the midwives again and I was told it’s not possible and can’t garuntee it .
It’s causing me more stress now than anything is anyone else in the same boat ? Can I refuse maternity care going forward ?
I’m happy to go to maternity assessment if needed but I can’t with the community midwives anymore .

Super nervous about it.

Hey guys, so I thought I was 6 weeks pregnant yesterday so I had booked myself in for a pregnancy confirmation scan. I had the expectation to see a yolk sac and possibly a faint heartbeat however when the midwife first looked it was an empty sac no yolk in sight. She did manage to find tiny thing she said she thinks is the yolk sac and marked me down as 5 weeks but would like to see me two days again to see if the yolk sac has developed. It has sent me into a slight spiral that there’s nothing there. It’s my first pregnancy and I am overthinking everything! I was a bit disappointed to not be as far as I thought I was. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Was everything ok in the end? I’ve attached the scan image.

Hello - looking for some advice please. I was booked in for an induction earlier this week and have been advised the labour ward is so busy that it’s actually closed for new admissions right now until further notice. Has anyone experienced this as well?
I’ve been told it can change quickly but my anxiety is increasing given I was being induced for medical reasons but equally understand pressures on the system right now so feel I can’t challenge it.
Any advice welcome.

Hi I’m 7 weeks pp after an emergency category 1 section under general anaesthetic, because of this I feel I missed the crucial first few hours of my little man’s life and feel robbed of the first cuddle and here is your baby moment, as I wasn’t back conscious until he was 2 hours old. , has anyone else experienced this? Everyone keeps telling me they’ve never heard of a section done under GA and I feel alone in it with no one to talk to.
