Has anyone's MIL feel she's entitled to the baby.... We have a very rocky relationship after she ruined my wedding. But she's so over bearing. I was trying to rebuild the relationship while pregnant for the baby's sake but my god is she getting to me. It's the little snarky comments like "a dummy is
So council house" "it looks so cheap". She then comes over & never leaves giving my advice when I didn't ask for it. Commenting on how much my own mother sees the baby over her. I'm so over it.....

I’m 22, idk if that means anything. Maybe bc I’m so young and my mil is like 52.. stand your ground. I’m telling you it gets worse. Stand your ground. She’s feels entitled bc she has a title and it’s her sons baby, she must have been a shit mother and she trying to pass down generational trauma. Keep your baby close. Have low contact with her. Practice grey rocking. I’m telling u bc in laws like that are the devil himself.. i wish i could pull up the audio messages of mine always asking personal questions, giving unsolicited advice or just blatantly turning the story on me and hubby when we tell her SHE did something. Start grey rocking her.. show no emotion. Grieve her. While grey rocking her also say things like “my baby is-“ take control bc she wants control she’s not mommy

Omg. This sounds like my MiL, sooo bad. I have so many stories. 😭 from how she treated me when my husband and I were dating. To when we had kids. Then our wedding day.

It’s hard but you need to stand your ground. I used to have a mil like this, big word USED to. Me and her son split because he was very much like her in the end and honestly she had a huge role to play when we split up. She had my daughter calling her mama at one point and calling me by my name!! After 3 months of being apart she got her son to take my daughter and not bring her back causing a huge court case over where my daughter should live, only now 11 months later has an agreement been reached about my daughter coming back to me properly but she tried everything in her power to make out I was a problem so she can have her!! Luckily social saw right through it and could see her game plan. I don’t say this to scare you, I say it because the motive behind it can run so so much deeper than you could ever think. Just protect you and your baby at no cost x
My baby is 3 weeks old and the last two nights has slept for 5 and a half hours without waking for a feed. I’m waking him up to feed him at this point as I’m panicking he’s gone too long without a feed. Is anyone else’s baby sleeping for this long at a time? Is it normal?

My 4 week old will only sleep 40 mins at night before wanting to be breastfed again is anyone else experiencing the same?, after 5/10 mins she’ll fall back asleep and do the exact same, during the day she can sleep for nearly 2/3 why is that ?
She’s both bottle and breast fed my partner gives her bottle at night before bed to give me a little rest

My baby is 3 months next week and has gone from sleeping 5-6 hour stretches to waking every 1.5-2 hours.
She’s also started sucking her thumb when she wakes. I don’t know if I should leave her to try and self settle as I’m currently feeding every time but it’s exhausting.
Any advice? I’m really hoping it’s a growth spurt or regression.
