Hey lovelies
So my water ruptured almost 24 hours ago but my contractions are not regulating themselves and I’m still at 1 cm since Thursday. They said after 24 h of the water rupture they will proceed with induction so like they will give me a pill to regulate and force the contractions to get stronger and closer tgt.

From UK here, I have been told after 24hrs of water breaking you need to be in hospital as it can lead to infections and put baby in distress. I don’t know how induction works but i am experiencing labour contractions since Wednesday and water not broken yet but im only 2 cm.
If i were you id call your doctor or midwife to find out more on what they plan to do with induction and actually explain it before they start anything.

Hello! Same happened to me last week. Waters broke and the next day I had to take one of these tablets every 2 hours, It was called misoprostal I think .The tablet didn't work for me so I had to get oxytocin drip and went in to labour that night.

Hi Issa, it was my first pregnancy so I don't have anything to compare it to. I was with another girl in the hospital that was taking the tablets and they worked for her, it was her second baby. I had to get everything I didn't want for this birth, baby really didn't want to come out 🙈🙈 I got the oxytocin drip around 4pm and gave birth at 2am.
I see so many mums keeping a packed daily schedule, and it makes me feel guilty that I don't do the same for my 9 weeks old daughter. Do you feel like your baby needs constant out-of-the-home stimulation, or is a slower, quieter routine at home just as good?

Hey mamas! I was getting induced at 39 weeks since baby is big. The induction itself last over 30 hours and the doctor then suggested it turn into a c-section delivery. It was the most mortifying experience ever, being deliriously drugged up and in pain for such a long period of time, then being told the initial operation was unsuccessful.
Now I’m about 6 days post-partum and healing at home. Any mamas have advice on whether scar cream is necessary? Is it that effective? Which one did you use?
Any advice to speed up recovery?
Thanks!

hi all, i’m 23 weeks pregnant and my hip pain when i sleep is so bad. i’m constantly waking up due to being in so much pain. it feels like they are bruising but they are not.
i’m using my pregnancy pillow every night but it doesn’t seem to be helping. last night i was in tears due to them hurting so bad.
does anyone have any advice on what i can do. i work full time and i’m barely sleeping 😭 i know it’s just going to get worse as time goes on 🙃

Is anyone else measuring a week less?
From my last monthly i should be 11+5 had a scan and they said I'm only 10+5?
So they can't give me a due date?
Never had this last pregnancy so curious what date do I go by? X

My best friend and I had babies 3 days apart, both c sections, 6 months ago. My friends belly has gone back to before with no overhang, whereas I still have an overhang.
I try not to compare but it’s making me feel really depressed. Anyone else still have an overhang?
