Needing reassurance

Does anyone get 4 hours sleep every night 😴 are you ok? Do you still manage to get out and do things? I’m sure there will be people out there in the same situation I just feel so alone in it.

I’m 31 weeks and so anxious about the lack of sleep and how to cope with even more lack of sleep with a newborn.

This isn’t even my first baby it’s my 3rd but I’ve found sleep so difficult this pregnancy and so worried about not coping on lack of sleep with a newborn. 😢

Hi I am in my third hospital stay with baby already (3 months pp) and the noise and business on the ward get me 2-4 hours of sleep a night max. I can tell you I am not coping. My mind is definitely going dark places but for my baby I am getting back to being strong. It's an up and down. I think I should reach out to my health visitor asking for a referral to some mental health help as it's inhumane what I am going through. So first and foremost: don't expect yourself to get about your day as normal. This is a majorly insufficient amount of sleep per night, especially pregnant when your need for rest is even bigger. Be gentle on yourself and don't expect anything at all. Assert your need for rest wherever possible throughout the day too. Secondly, once baby is there and in the case of the sleep deprivation continuing you can also reach out to your health visitor or GP telling them you are not coping well and need some support xx

Mines 11 months old and maybe wakes every 3 hours still. Im alive 😂

Some days i get more
Some days i get less

But usually maybe in thr 4 to 5 hour range

Last night for instance he woke maybe 4 or t times from 10pm till 7.30am

As a mum though, your body hot wires you to survive these wake ups 🥲

Wishing you well x

5 day old baby sleep! Help!

Hi,
Can someone please reassure me things will get better. My newborn is only 5 days old and will not do more than about an hours stretch in the moses basket/next to me on a night time. He’s formula fed and feeding well so it’s not a hunger wake. He is generally not very fussy and will happily be asleep on us for hours on end. During the day he will happily be put down while we get on with things.
I know they have no regulation of night and day and no circadian rhythm at this age but my first son could go around 3 hour stretches and would be put back down after a feed. He is typically a good sleeper and always has been luckily.

I have NO issue with my baby wanting comfort and to be close to his mummy after being in the womb for so long and me and my husband are taking shifts so we are surviving I am just after reassurance that this is normal and it will improve after a few weeks/months rather than him being a terrible sleeper?!

Anyone can recomend a fair insuarence company for motorbike accident, please?

My partner was a victim of the accident, he was driving his motorbike and an elderly man hit him by his car. He had significant damages on his motorbike, thanks God he was wearing protective clothes and only had some scratched and bruises, that was reported. He made a claim, but the person who handled his case ignored many facts, she did not contact his witnes, they did not rush to send an engineer to check his motorbike and at the end they just ignored the report from the engineer where it was obvious that my partner was a victim in this accident..... He is a very good drive, with 14 years of experience. I don't drive and I don't feel safe to be in the car with many people, but I feel quite safe when my partner drives, in fact I trust him our two kids to be with him in the car. He never had any accidents, and this situation very unfair on him where he was hit in a very quite road where quite hard to have an accident if you are a good drive. He felt discriminated and totally ignored, unfortunately I am agree on this.... :( it was an elderly drive, who burned into my partner, damaged his motorbike and could potentially harm him physicaly. Now he will get a compensation and could potentially be a treat to other drivers, it will affect my partner score, he will have to fix motorbike on his own expenses... The woman who handle his case ignored his calls and emails many times and now she just closed his case. Anyone been in similar situation? I feel so sorry for him, he is not lucky in life and this put him down a lot, last few days he is very low in mood. Do you think we can do something about this situation?

Sex postpartum - post 2nd degree tear

I had a 2nd degree tear and had stitches. I've had sex only twice so far since (now 4 months pp). It has been so painful mainly where the tear was, skin feels so tight and it just causes pain.

I used a lot of lube but that didn't help much, felt like my skin just wasn't stretching at all. Any advice?

Sleep

Just saw a TikTok that says her 3 month old baby sleeps 8hrs-11hrs per night !!! Brb while I go cry in the corner🤣🤣my baby still wakes me every 2 hours, no matter what I try. We have a good night time ruiteen & I combi feed, but formula doesn’t seem to make her last any longer than breastfeeding. Please tell me I’m not the only one still in the trenches
