Hurtful words

So today I was changing our 18m old diaper and he bent down to play with her and she was waving her arms, I don’t exactly know what happened because I was focused on wiping her, but he like tapped her arm to say no and I was like “hey- don’t do that” and he went off the fucking rails. And went into like a 5-10m rant...

Childcare - childminding

Going back to work soon and thinking about using a childminder instead of full time nursery. What are some things you look for in a childminder? ALSO I receive UC will they help towards the childcare costs for a childminder rather than nursery?

Potty training - anger

Any one else's little one really angry about using the potty/toilet? She is ready to do it but it's a flat out refusal most days. I don't know what to do to combat it, or just put her in pants and deal with the rage.

How are you cooking and serving meat for your baby?

Weaning has gone so well but i struggle with how to cook and serve meat. I do have the solid starts app but when I follow the advice on there my chicken is just so dry and is like the only thing my baby won’t eat. All advice and recipes welcome.

Sitting at the table

At what age roughly would you say your child can come out of the highchair and sit on a chair to eat at the table with you? Or what steps could be done to help this happen?

Does anyone else kinda gets irritated when your man is sick?

My husband came home feeling very sick. While I understand that he is not feeling good, it's how he acts that iratating. He literally walked through the door and had me help him take his backpack off (he rides a motorcycle to work sometimes and takes the bag for his helmet). Once he gets his jacket and everything h...

Husband is done but you’re not

I need advice, my husband and I agreed that we would only have two kids. We shook on it and said ok. But ever since I had my second child, I have felt a STRONG sense of someone is missing, like we are supposed to have another one. And I don’t know if that is because I have two sons and would love a daughter or if i...

How to deal with “seasonal” parents?

So I’ve been in my SD (10) life since she was 1 yo. In the beginning the BM was so so petty. Like calling cops on us to come get our SD (3) bc we didn’t feel she was safe around her then-boyfriend (who was also on the phone yelling at my SO always trying to fight him over stuff she started, and who eventually DID tu...

Partner working too many hours

Hi mamas, How would you guys feel if your husband works 14 hours a day and wants to work even more, while you’re home with the baby every day alone? How would you approach the conversation about not wanting him to work more hours in a polite manner without making him feel like he’s being restricted?

Am I crazy?

So my fiancé and I have been together for almost 12 years. He recently started going down on me, like out of no where when it was something he never did all this time. Not complaining but for someone who doesn’t do it, he was really good. I recently noticed he also started matching his outfits more and wanting to ma...
