Nursery

So my youngest goes to school in September and I need a leaving gift!

So one of the girls that looks after him looked after my now 10 year old too when she was younger and became more a friend and was there all through my divorce and has been a god send! I don’t have to worry about sending him (he has so many medical issues) as I know she is on it

The manager has only been there a year but again is more like family! She is absolutely out of this world and deserves the world

And then the other girls are also amazing

I want to get them something nice but I don’t know what! I know they don’t do it to be thanked but one has been a part of the family for nearly 10 years and the others work so hard! Nothing I get will ever be enough to thank them but I need something 😂🥹

I work in a nursery and the best gifts I’ve had are the ones with a personal card. I love the little crafty ones where it’s foot prints etc with a lovely message. They are what are treasured the most :)
Maybe do a little footprint card and turn the painted feet into berries and caption it “we will miss you berry much” etc
I also had someone write me a poem once which was lovely.
and the “big hearts grown tiny minds” things are always so lovely

Working vs SAHM

Trying to decide if I want to go back to work or become a SAHM. We went through infertility for 3 years and had our baby girl in February.
I’m supposed to go back in a month but cant decide if I’d rather stay home. We can do it financially.
I do like my job but it also stresses me out at times. I would ask to go back 3 days a week if I did go back (already asked just in case, awaiting response) so I’d have 3 days on, 4 days off.
This may be our only child since I’m 32 so I don’t want to miss out on these early months/years. We also have inquired at multiple daycares and haven’t been able to get her a spot.
Advice?

Teaching assistant (UK only please)

I have the opportunity to be a teaching assistant but I know it's very underpaid/ a lot of work stress and a heavy workload.

Shall I do it?

Anybody else dreading going back to work?

I gave birth February 27 and I am planning on going back to work April 27. I am so anxious and nervous about going back but I know I’m ready. Plus, I have no choice because I am out of money. I don’t wanna go back to work, but I also kinda need to go back to work. It’s a whole thing. Anyone else in the same boat?
