What contraception did you go on after birth?

Hi, I wondered if there’s anybody here who has experienced something similar or could tell me if this is normal?

So I came off my pill a month ago to begin trying for a second baby. Obviously I’ve come off of my pill a few times in the past, one of these times being to try for first baby, but have never experienced what I have right now.

This month’s period, first one since stopping pill, has come almost when I would have expected it but it’s basically a bit of spotting, not enough to fill even a pad, let alone a tampon, I’ve just been using panty liners. It’s also only lasted 2-3 days max.

It’s definitely not normal for me, as previously I’ve had a generally medium/heavy period straight away as I usually would with or without the pill.

I understand it can take a few months to get your cycles back in check after stopping the pill, but as I said I’ve never experienced this next-to-nothing spotting before.

Help please!

Nappy bin in the nursery - how to reduce smells!

Sorry mines just a random silly one😆 but in my little boys nursery is his changing area and nappy bin and despite having a bin that seals, when we shut the bedroom door, it shuts the wee / poo smell into the room and it becomes such an overwhelming smell in his room.

I just wondered if people had any tips to keeping the room smelling fresh?
I darent use any air fresheners in case they have harmful ingredients. I change the bin ever 2-3 days.
Any little tips would be great 😌

Bladder infection

Help.....I am 2 weeks post section and I have recently gotten a bladder infection. I am on antibiotics but I need other ways to relieve pain......I know cranberry juice helps but I need other options too.

Period disc’s

My period is back ahhh!! I use to use tampons but I’m thinking of switching over to period disc’s. If any of you ladies have used them and love any specific brand I would so love to know which ones!! I have 2 under 2 so realistically I need something that is low maintenance and easy to use!!

Wipe recommendations

What wipes are we all using?

We were using Amazon’s mama bear ones but they’ve changed them and they are really dry and hard to get out of the packet now!

When did you stop bleeding after hormonal coil fitting?

This is driving me insane already because I had my period starting 2 weeks ago today, then had my coil fitted on the following Tuesday which just seems to of reset the blood flow… and now 9 days later I am still ‘bleeding’ like dark brown sticky stuff/old blood and I’m so over it. I’m sore down below now from wearing pads 2 weeks straight.
Just curious to see when it stopped for everyone. I don’t have much luck with any contraception so this was kinda a last chance attempt for me.

The depo injection after my son made me bleed for a year straight.. literally traumatic🫠 I was in the really small % of people who bleed more on it rather than slowing periods down and I’m praying I’m not the same with the coil🥲
