Ladies who got pregnant on birth control I’m curious

Was it due to?
I know there’s more out there but these seem to be most commonly used.

Female anatomy rant (TMI)

Right can I just rant about my damn discharge! So i have been suffering with discharge since I fell pregnant with my daughter who is now 18 months I just thought ok maybe it's gonna take some time for my body to expell all the nasty crap.

No I've been in for screening they want me to do another swab for thrush because it came back inconclusive which has annoyed me because the nurse opened me up with a fucking speculum literally clasped it there or whatever and did the swabs herself!

The lady who gave me these results on the phone asked me if I use anything on my vagina to clean and no I don't and she asked what I do when I shave. I use a whipped soap and a razor and she told me even if I don't put product directly on it doesn't matter and I should just trim it instead, sorry what? And by the way I don't shave that often.. Like yeah I understand I even need to let her breathe so no tight underwear or clothing.

But surely wearing leggings isn't going to effect me that much? My discharge is all colours you can think of... And there's nothing wrong with me apart from I need to do another thrush test but I have zero thrush symptoms a part from discharge.

Like I don't know what to do anymore because I feel like I'm getting no where. I don't know how wearing loose items and even letting it breathe when I'm in the house (idk how to do that with 2 kids around!) Is going to help? Am I just stupid?

Advice-spotting

Hi,

Was wondering if I could have some advice, I’m 10 weeks pp and started the pill a few weeks ago. I had unprotected sex (pull out method) but am now spotting brown, I don’t start my ‘period’ until next week according to the pill and was wondering if this is common with the pill or if there is a possibility of pregnancy as I spotted with my previous pregnancy so of course am a bit nervous. Thank you!

Birth control - desogestrel (mini pill)

Has anyone been using the mini pill? And if so, how’s it been going for you? I’ve been on it for just over a week now and I’m not sure.. my period was due yesterday and still, nothing.

mirena coil

I’ve had my coil in for almost 2 years, it came out on its own yesterday, I’ve had no periods for 3 months prior to this and no bleeding since it came out. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m panicking because I don’t want to be pregnant, i have done a pregnancy test and right now it’s negative.

I just wanted to hear peoples experiences, I had the mirena coil pre giving birth and the experience was absolute hell. I was soaking through pads hourly and the cramps were the closest thing I’ve felt to contractions in my life. All I could do was lie in bed and cry, I was on literally the strongest pain killers and after 2 weeks I had to get it taken out.

But now post birth, I’m really struggling with birth control, the bar in my arm is no better periods wise I’m bleeding everyday which has now resulted in me being low iron, also tried to combination pill which made me bleed even more and experience low mood. I’ve booked to get it taken out next week but I’ve also booked to give the mirena another go

I’m genuinely so scared but this is my last chance I’m giving contraception before i go down the route of sterilisation, as I’ve tried every option which to no avail has suited me. With every method I’ve experienced low mood, irregular bleeding, fatigue- I feel like if this doesn’t work out I have to forget the image of having 2 kids and fight my case to get sterilised (I’m 23)

Please give me some hope that this will work out😢

Birth control?

Is anyone here on birth control? I’m thinking about getting on some soon but kinda scared to. I have 2 under 2. And I haven’t taken birth control since I was 18 years old. I’m 31 now. My man and I aren’t trying to have a third kid. We are happy with our two. But I just don’t want all the hormonal shifts that come with the medicine.
