We all heard the term it takes a village? So my question is what if your village is so limited that you don’t have the sources or the help lately I have been getting a hard time of being very against putting my 16 month old into daycare. Just so I can pick up hours for work. It’s not that I don’t trust day cares I’m just not comfortable leaving my 16 month old in a daycare knowing that I have been a stay at home mom for about a year and I’m barely going back to work. So the question is, is it wrong with me to choose not to have my 16 month old in a daycare because I worry and I get scared that something’s gonna happen. Obviously it’s my opinion in my choice, but do you think that it’s right or wrong with me to stick to that choice knowing others have been giving me a hard time for not pursuing a daycare?

What can my 4 month old baby sit in?

He wants to sit up more but not sure if he is too young for the mamas and papas chair with tray?

We are fortunate to be in a position where we have 3 schools my little girl could get into for reception. However, most of her nursery friends are going to one particular school. I liked this school, but just preferred another of our choices. I’m just worried about how upset she’ll be for not going with her friends. Has anyone been in a similar position?

Summer born delayed entry to school

Hey, I’m hoping for some advice/your experiences. I have a May 2023 boy and am considering applying to start him a year later into reception as is our right as summer born parents. He doesn’t have any significant needs, but I feel he could really benefit from the extra year to develop emotionally as well as build on his fine motor skills, confidence and physical stamina.

I’m wondering if anyone with May 2022 child delayed their child’s school entry and if you could share your experience as well as people’s experiences of sending them to school already this year.
