Bedtime has become a nightmare…

Anyone else’s bedtime just become so terrible since their child turned 1. Like she does great at bath time, but as soon as I lay her down to put on a diaper it’s terrible. Piercing cries for 15-20 minutes. We co-sleep, so it’s not like I’m leaving her. And she nurses before bed, sometimes to sleep, sometimes not. La...

9 week old won’t sleep.

My 9 week old just won’t sleep. All day long they just cat nap, maybe managing a few 20 minute naps. Then at night it can take 3+ hours to settle for bed. And then they’ll be awake 1/2 hourly and up for an hour each time. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve tried all the usual tricks, dark room, white noise...

Won’t sleep in crib anymore !

Hi Moms! So my daughter was sick in December and she was sleeping with us at night. We tried getting her back in her crib once she felt better and she won’t stay in her crib not even for her naps. Any suggestions on how to get her back on track?

Feeding schedule

What is everyone's feeding schedule like? My baby loves to sleep so he doesn't get up till 730 usually, takes 2 naps (1.5 hrs total) and is passed out by 7pm. They say at this age babies need to eat 3 meals, 2 snacks AND milk while keeping it all 2-3 hours apart. It is quite literally unrealistic.

Nappy changing in the night

How often do you change your little one’s nappy during the night? I’m breastfeeding & find that if I change him after a feed he’s then wide awake (when he was in a milk coma). Are you changing after every feed?

Help!

I have been using a white noise machine with my 1 year old for a few months now and I feel like it helps her sleep and also muffles any other sound that could wake her up. Today the charger just broke and no other charger that we have in the house works. She kept waking up due to not having the white noise so I star...

Outgrowing bassinet :(

Anyone else dreading baby outgrowing the bedside bassinet and having to sleep in their own room? Makes me so sad. 😞 I just want to keep baby in my room next to me, especially since she still wakes for feedings 1-2 times per night! I know cosleeping is an option but my husband being in the bed makes it super…

Need support 😭

I am home alone with 6 weeks baby. She was so peaceful and she didn’t cry a lot until 2 days ago. Yesterday and today was horrible, she won’t sleep, she is very angry, she just want me to walk around with her. What do I do? I feel exhausted. When this gets easier?😭😭😭 Ps how long your breastfed baby sleep? Mine is…

Getting baby in the pram

Does anyone else have any issues with putting baby in the pram when going for walks? My LG, 10 weeks, cries as soon as I put her in, so I've ended up getting into habit of waiting until she naps (in my arms) and then placing her in the pram, racing out the door and hope she doesn't wake up whilst on the walk. I re...

‘Routine’

Is anyone else’s baby in zero routine, has no ‘bed time’ and when they do finally settle for the night it’s 11/12pm? She’s very unpredictable with feeds, bottle fed and just feeds when she wants? Feel there is so much pressure to have them in a routine and sleeping through?! I’m fairly relaxed but am wondering ...

When baby comes into your bed

For those who co sleep or bring baby into your bed partway through the night… Where are you putting baby in the bed? If you have a partner, is baby in middle of you both or just on your side? Scared of baby falling out of the bed but I remember reading that baby shouldn’t be in the middle. When does safe sleep s...

Transition to sleeping bag

My LO has begun rolling so we need to move to a sleeping bag. This might sound like a silly question but do I put my baby to sleep and then put him into the sleeping bag? He's not falling asleep by himself yet so we either rock him or he falls asleep in the bouncer and then we put him in the crib. Thank you

Sleep for Breastfed Babies

My LO is exclusively breastfed and is 8 weeks old this week. He only ever sleeps for an hour or so at a time, even during the night, and feeds every 2 hours. Is this normal for breastfed babies? Is there anything I can do to prompt longer sleeping during the night? Lack of sleep on my part is starting to take its toll.
