Your baby’s safety is always worth the double-check
When a product is flagged as unsafe, recalls are typically issued by the brand itself or by federal regulators — the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) or the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Recalls can cover anything: car seats, nursery furniture, toys, clothing, formula, baby food, and more.
There are two easy ways to stay ahead:
From nursery furniture to bath seats, toys to sleepwear — this is your one-stop check for every baby product recall in 2026. We update this table each month as new recalls are announced, so it's always worth a bookmark.

Just the one recall confirmed for March 2026 so far — but it affects a pretty popular sleep product, so it's worth a look. Here's the full breakdown.
If you've been using the HALO Magic Sleepsuit to help your little one transition out of swaddling, this one's worth a check. Around 45,000 suits are affected — specifically those with batch codes PO30592, PO30641, and PO30685, in both small and large sizes. These were sold at halosleep.com, Amazon, Walmart, and Target between September 2025 and February 2026.
The zipper head can detach from the suit — and for an infant, that's a choking hazard. HALO Dream has had 15 reports of this happening, though no injuries have been reported so far.
Put the sleepsuit aside and keep it out of reach for now. Head to sleepsuitrecall.com to register — you'll receive a coupon code for a replacement sleepsuit or a $50 store credit. Hold onto the suit until your code arrives though, as you'll need it to complete the process.
Think of warnings as the CPSC's version of a red flag. No formal recall process, no refund — just a clear message to stop using the product immediately. Here's what's been flagged in 2026.

Three products flagged in March 2026 — and while none of them are your typical baby gear, they're all things that could easily end up in a home with little ones around. Worth a look.
These 5-drawer fabric dressers were sold on Walmart.com for around $100, and may have been available through other online retailers too.
If not anchored to the wall, these dressers are unstable and can tip over — creating a serious entrapment risk that can cause injury or death to children. They violate the mandatory standard under the STURDY law.
Stop using the dresser immediately if it isn't securely wall-anchored. Either anchor it properly to the wall right away, or dispose of it according to your local disposal guidelines. Do not sell or give it away.
These magnetic stick figure toy sets feature poseable figures with detachable arms and legs. About 7,723 units were sold on Amazon from June 2024 through October 2025 for around $9, and may have also been sold through other third-party sellers.
The arms and legs can detach when pulled, releasing magnets that are stronger than permitted under federal toy safety standards. If a child swallows more than one of these magnets, they can attract through intestinal walls, causing blockages, perforations, infection, and potentially death.
Stop using these toy sets immediately and keep them away from children. Dispose of them safely and do not sell or give them away to anyone.
These LED flameless candle sets with a remote control were sold on Amazon from March 2024 through September 2025 for around $20.
The remote control contains a lithium coin battery that children can easily access — and if swallowed, coin batteries can cause serious chemical burns to the esophagus very quickly. The product also lacks the required safety warnings under Reese's Law.
Stop using these candle sets immediately and dispose of them safely. Do not sell or give them away.
Recalls exist because the system is working — not because parenting is a minefield. If something you own shows up on this list, don't panic. Just follow the steps above, and you'll be sorted.
